My mother is a dietitian and she always rants about the inadequate performances of some of the people working in her clinic. The last thing they want is physical proof that they were ignorant of a patient’s needs or procedures. If you are assigned someone who seems laid back and doesn’t take your appointments seriously, write your appointments in a calendar. Write down exactly what they did or told you after appointments (or if they have you take something that you aren’t sure about). Writing this down would be good for your health in case you need to see someone else for a diagnoses.

EDIT: HAVE THEM WRITE DOWN THEIR TREATMENT METHODS FOR YOU IN YOUR FILE! Don’t request, DEMAND. Have them write it down in front of you if you think something is up!
