I found it so funny that all throughout episode eight, Cherry, Heather and Kirsten kept being like “This isn’t you Matt.” When in fact, this is exactly who Matt is.

None of them knew him before Foggy’s death. They met him while he was still grieving/recovering from losing his best friend. The Matt they know is a broken piece of who he really is and now that those pieces are finally starting to come back together they’re all shocked at what those pieces are forming.

Now that Matt’s back as Daredevil we’re really gonna see which of his new friends are in it for the long run, and which ones can only accept who Matt is when he’s not himself.
