Cooking for the first time in kimono. 😁 Hubby was going to cook breakfast for me after I dressed for our Kimono de Jack DC outing. I got dressed and he woke up with a painful ankle. So here I am heading into the kitchen…🍳

I just love K9s so much that I can’t seem to get enough of them during the Year of the Dog. 😆 I was even born in a YOD. Here is a kobukusa by famous weaver Kitamura Tak Shinsaibashi with adorable dogs creating piles of puppies. I’ve had this awhile and have been waiting for a chance to break it out!

It was Washington, DC Sakura Matsuri weekend and brother was it hot! Had to ditch the lined kimono and break out an unlined, tsumugi kimono with large woven flowers. 🌸 Paired it with an olive-green han-eri and heko obi. The charm is a stuffed chirman bunny. 🐰

Yukiwa / snow crystal kimono, cute snowman obidome and my new Tatsumura Textile hanhaba obi! I was so excited to get a chance to wear the obi. Love the pine needle pattern and it tied like a dream. 🌲❄️👘⛄️😊 @tatsumura2
