Mindmaps make everything look so much more manageable
Today has been really productive. I went to school for two hours for some biology revision and then went to meet a friend for lunch. It was such a lovely day that I chose to walk the hour back home rather than catch a bus so I could listen to the audiobook version of Nineteen Eighty Four. However, as punishment for being healthy, I now have blisters on the soles of both feet :(
Reblogging because this is some serious talent that needs to be shown to the whole world 😍

Rant incoming! I’m so tired. It’s been half a week and I’ve had so much work thrown at me. I’ve just moved into my second year house and am still finding my feet; I’ve got work from 5 modules on the go at the same time; there’s Zoom calls left, right and centre; and a ton of short deadlines. I’m trying to keep my chin up because the content is actually very interesting - it’s just very intense!
Anyway, have some proton NMR notes and remember to drink some water :)
I love overcomplicating things, apparently! Anyhow, I got the right answer so I’m good.
Happy Wednesday :)
Hi all! Back at it again with the biology notes - this time it’s the adrenal glands ft hand-drawn diagrams. This is actually really interesting stuff and I’m loving A2 biology!
So I’ve written a German essay, answered a bunch of questions based on an article and have also done a bunch of French homework, and it’s only the first official day of half term! I had a pretty restful weekend but I did at least one task just to keep busy.
I think tonight I’ll read Le Père Goriot and then maybe get a couple of pages through Genes. And I’ll go to the shop and get some milk because otherwise I can’t have a cup of tea and I’m desperate for one haha

Say it louder for the people at the back!
Just a reminder, but you do not need to “earn” being tired.
You’re allowed to be tired, even if you haven’t “done” anything and you’re allowed to be tired even if you did less than someone else.
Being tired is a normal thing your body does for a whole plethora of reasons, and is a basic bodily function. You don’t need to “earn” basic bodily functions, no matter what anyone else tells you.
Me voilà hahaha
has this been done yet?
I wish I’d learned to struggle properly earlier in my education. I’d always understood everything first time round, but now I can’t say that and I don’t know how to fix it
The worst part about exams is the waiting. I finished my last exam of second year today, and now comes the agonising period where I fight as hard as I can against the will to overanalyse every little error I may have made. To save my sanity, my mantra is now: if it’s out of my hands, it’s out of my head :)
