*screams*
HAPPY FUCKING PRIDE
ASEXUAL AND AROMANTIC PEOPLE EXIST AND ARE PART OF THE COMMUNITY
NOW GO BE MENACES TO SOCIETY
Look how many people hate him. I’m pretty damn happy about that 😁😁😁😁😁😁
my main requirement in a partner is someone who's willing to "yes, and" me. if i say something completely insane i need them to just pick that up and run with it and commit to the bit until we wind up with a conversation that's funny to us but completely incoherent to everyone within earshot. actually now that i'm typing this out i've realised my ideal relationship might just be "shitty improv comedy duo"
i keep thinking of this
Suzanne Collins gripping my face with her hands: listen listen the first step to evil is dehumanisation, always, the second you start to see people as less than people no matter what they've done to you that's when you start heading down a path of selfish destruction and violence
The thing that frustrates me the most about dark academia’s white supremacy is how narrow the worldview is. Is it elegant or just Western European?? Are those buildings really alluring and mysterious or are they just gothic and made in English style?? For something that claims to be so superior than all else in finding beauty in everything they cannot find beauty in what is not white, especially when it comes to surroundings and their “superior” literature and their knowledge. Heavy on their knowledge.
How dare we exist in our disabled bodies as queer people, apparently. How dare we refuse to conform to some bullshit idea of 'desirable'.
We deserve to love ourselves for who we are. Fuck this societal crap about "clear, pale and thin" bodies being the peak of beauty. It's ableist and racist and it needs to stop.
This a a reminder to not fall victim to the sunk-cost fallacy. Just because you invested time and energy into something, does not mean you should indefinitely waste more time and energy on it, if you decide it’s not what you want anymore. This goes for anything, from books, to relationships, to jobs, to hobbies, etc.
If it’s not serving you anymore, move on.
