So I finished watching the PJO show last night, and God am I disappointed.
I was expecting to watch a show which is accurate to the book. It was not.
I don't have any issues with them cutting scenes. But they lost the essence of Percy as a person. Everything felt rushed. The fight scenes were barely there. The fight with ares is an important part where it's shown how Percy has grown. The fight lasted all of 5 minutes on the screen. Half of which was given to Luke and Percy sword fighting. It's supposed to show that Percy is a good sword fighter. Apart from that, where was the tension? They knew everything. There was no suspense.
Also the beloved nicknames seaweed brain and wise girl felt forced. Funny scenes were cut. Annabeth explaining why Poseidon and Athena are rivals, why she has a bad relationship with her father. Why grover wants to search for Pan?
Also am I misremembering or there was this thing that they were not supposed to say the names of the gods?
I think if they wanted to make a different story line, then they should not have adapted the dam books.
Also anyone who was a fan of the books, who says be happy that you atleast got the adaptation, I would rather they hadn't adapted it AT ALL.
This is important hello (x)

Me: *Removes my cat from my lap to do something else.*
My cat: Father is...evil? Father is unyielding? Father is incapable of love? I am running away. I am packing my little rucksack and going out to explore the world as a lone vagabond. I can no longer thrive in this household.

hi take my quiz on what your hands were meant to do
I have never in my life had a kitten react this negatively to swaddling. Fully feral 8 week olds tolerate it better than this 10 day old kitten. Warning: he is LOUD and sounds like he's being tortured.
You can imagine how much fun tube feeding him is right now....
This is the same baby that was growling at me so it appears to be a native personality thing. He's going to be a delightful adult cat at the vet.... Maybe I should change his name to "eternal gabapentin"
