I finished two parts of this undertaking before I remembered that Gossamer doesn’t allow direct-linking. So all of the links will appear broken. Sorry about that. The stories with links can be found on Gossamer by either title or author.

In 2002 I went through Gossamer and saved a bunch of my favorite XF fanfics. Some I saved years before, before they were pulled from the archives. If I were going to introduce someone to the world of XF fanfiction - one of the most insanely prolific fandoms ever (not everything - not even a tiny percentage of the good stuff - is posted at ff.net or ao3) -  these are some of the ones I’d choose. This list is by no means exhaustive; some stories were lost to time, some were pulled and I will respect the author’s wishes and won’t repost them even if I have the saved files.  I’m including links to the ones still archived at Gossamer and titles/authors of the others so you can hunt them down if you so choose via wayback machine.

Mulder knew he was in love with Scully by S2 and he stopped trying to deny it (to himself at least) by S4. And THAT, my friends, is why S4 hits different.

I haven’t been able to bring myself to finish the txfs but after maybe six years i did finish btvs so obviously i had to find something knew (old) to watch. That would be Bones, and here is a non-conclusive list if the reactions my friends have been sent since i started it and watched 15 episodes this week:

“Brennan is so funny and autistic”

“Also “spit in your hand and we can be scully and mulder” “i don’t know what that means” was PEAK”

“every time she says “idk what the means” i giggle”

There are several times i text a quote followed by “*angry booth noises*”

“I love the running gag abt her gun and ‘he was trying to light me on fire’”

Is it bad that i can name what episodes most of these are from?

Oh my gosh. I just found this website that walks you though creating a believable society. It breaks each facet down into individual questions and makes it so simple! It seems really helpful for worldbuilding!
