i will spend every day of the rest of my life saying 'if you're going to like something you should reblog it too'
nobody's judging you for what you reblog unless it is outright hate, but you know who DOES care about it? our dying art community.
this site is BUILT on fanworks and we're complaining an awful lot about the changes staff is making to try to boost site traffic, yet doing little to support what communities we have on here. you don't have to leave tags, you don't have to leave comments, but if you want tumblr to stay the same we have to reblog shit on this site like we used to otherwise we'll lose the artists and writers our foundation was built on.

What I mean when I do not control the hyperfixation.
My one friend group can't stop saying, "See you in hell!" in a cheerful voice instead of, "Talk to you later!" and my other friend group can't stop calling things "penis" instead of "cool" or "good", so I just unironically uttered the phrase, "Sounds penis, see you in hell," as I got off the phone.
the thing about adulthood is when someone says something extremely rude to you, you can either turn the other cheek or calmly & firmly correct them. The third option is to tell them “say that again, I’ll bite you” & everyone sort of nervously laughs and tries to move on from your little joke. Which is why I think it’s very important that when they do say it again you follow through. Nobody actually expects you to bite them. We should be biting more. Also if you’re with the county health department do not read thi s post
fanfic writing culture isn’t “oh dang! I wanted to write about this prompt with this character but someone else already wrote it, so now I can’t”.
fanfic writing culture is always “two cakes is better than one. the more the merrier. there can ever be enough fics of this character with this prompt!”
