Today's the last day of April, and to belatedly celebrate my birthday I'd like to share a comic with you: it's about getting revenge against the people who wronged you, and it's called Werewolf's Lament.
Werewolf's Lament is printed with florescent orange and mint risograph inks on light brown paper; cut and folded in the shape of a wolf. Physical copies are for sale in my online shop.
all I want for christmas is youuuuu 🥁🥁🥁
For many systems, having roles can provide individual members with purpose and drive. Many headmates come with roles, but some adopt them later in life. Protectors do so much for the systems they protect, and their efforts don’t go unnoticed! This post is for all the system protectors out there!
🛡 Shoutout to protectors who have always existed in their systems, protecting them since their formation!
⚔️ Shoutout to protectors who were consciously created in order to help protect the system!
🛡 Shoutout to protectors with chronic pain or illness, who find they’re not always able to protect their system when they need to!
⚔️ Shoutout to protectors who are hosts, frequent fronters, or permanently frontstuck!
🛡 Shoutout to protectors who work behind the scenes, protect the system by managing symptoms, or never front at all!
⚔️ Shoutout to protectors who handle in-system conflict, and work as mediators and negotiators!
🛡 Shoutout to protectors who feel like they can’t do enough to protect their system!
⚔️ Shoutout to protectors who struggle with negative emotions like guilt, shame, anger, jealousy, or sadness!
🛡 Shoutout to protectors who didn’t start that way, stepped up to fill the role when it was needed!
⚔️ Shoutout to protectors who are therian, otherkin, copinglink, or nonhuman in any way!
🛡 Shoutout to protectors who help their system survive in ways that others might think are “weird” or “cringe!”
Every system is unique, and each protector has their own individual ways of helping their system flourish! There’s no need to compare yourself to protectors in other systems - you’re doing the best you can and that counts for something!
Thank you so much for all the hard work you put into protecting your system. Your efforts aren’t going unnoticed - we see you, we know how difficult protecting a system can be, and we’re rooting for you in all that you do! Thanks so much for reading, and take care!
(Image ID:) A pale orange userbox with a cluster of multicolored flowers for the userbox image. The border and text are both dark orange, and the text reads “all plurals can interact with this post!” (End ID.)
Questioning plural culture is “even if im not actually a system or plural it’s really comforting to relate thoughts and emotions to not me.” Like I can’t describe it. Like I’m probably not a system I just find comfort in having an entity to relate stuff to
.
Trying to stop motherfuckers from fronting when they shouldn't is like herding cats I swear to god I'm so fucking done
