Alfred punched Matthew in the arm, laughing from his brothers response. "We don't really talk all that much so I figured why not I mean...but it's cool if you don't wanna talk about it bro I understand." Alfred smiles at him, chuckling a little. Even though Alfred himself does have someone, but should he tell him who though?

“Haha true otherwise you might have to bail me outta jail haha just kidding bro I wouldn’t do that to you.” Alfred laughed, enjoying his time with brother. “So have you met anyone you like yet?” Alfred asked, curiosity getting the better of him.

Can I talk about one line I especially appreciate in Undertale?

On it’s own, this line is a huge wham line of feelings on its own. It’s one of the pinnacles of the Pacifist run. It’s a single sentence basically summing up the morals used through said run, and it’s pretty heavy. But it also has a personal meaning to me, and I’d like to talk about the way the lowercase ‘love’ is used. 

Throughout the game of Undertale there is no direct romance involving Frisk. (They’re a child, first of all, and that’s just not the focus of the game in general), yet, this term is used.

‘Love’. In media you never really hear that outside of sexual and/or romantic relationships. You only hear the term ‘love’ when kisses or romantic partners are being described. And as an Aromantic it’s almost alienating to me. You can’t ‘love’ your friends in media. You’re ‘best friends’. Or you ‘Care about each other’. And in familial relationships only young children tend to say they ‘love’ each other. It’s never used like that. It’s as if media treats those two types of love as somehow less real. 

But they’re not. They’re just as, if not more, important as romantic ‘love’. And frankly I love that this one line throws that idea down the drain.

And Undertale isn’t afraid to admit that.

So…because I just love to torture myself emotionally, I watched the Davie episode numerous times and…there’s something I noticed about it.

When America and Davie first met, Davie’s house was the only one for miles.

The book with the picture of the Blue bells in it was held in a large trunk made for travel or storing things a long distance. And considering that they, at this point in time, were only available in England, means that Davie, or at least his parents, were not originally from America.

The next time America went to see Davie, more homes had been build around the area, the place now being the size of a small village and by seeing the other boy who was talking with Davie, there are more people

The next time the place is even larger, it has turned into a full grown town.

This leads me to believe wasn’t just a young boy who lived in America. He was from one of the original English colonies, Possibly one of America’s very first citizens. The book about the flowers probably was something his parents brought with them over seas from England, bit since Davie was too young at the time he doesn’t remember ever seeing them expect for in a book. When Davie died America didn’t just loose a friend, he lost one of the FIRST PEOPLE TO EVER CALL HIS LAND HOME. Let that just sink in….

"Maybe I can try that but I do have Tony, I almost actually forgot about him." Alfred laughed, still thinking maybe bunking with someone would be a good idea. "You know your a responsible person, a good one to. Im glad your one of my states." Alfred gave Daniel a hug. He gave credit to a lot of his states everyday but not in person, mostly because he got stuck in those annoying country meetings.

Alfred thought for a moment and smiled, maybe I should visit Pennsylvania. “I do know how to cook but the reason I don’t really do it is because…I get lonely from time to time…to me it wouldn’t make sense to cook for just yourself.” Alfred set down his knife, face going blank, showing no emotion. “I’ll take a visit to Pennsylvania sometime then, thanks for the advice Daniel.”
