Hi! I’m a beginner in sun witchcraft and I’m excited to begin my craft but I’ve been looking for banishing spells that could be tied to sun witchcraft and I haven’t found any. Got any ideas? Ty ty 🤍💫
TONS OF IDEAS!! Keep in mind my craft is 100% intuition and energy so these may not be traditional.
🌵cactus- they're extremely helpful with banishing and warding because of their needles!
🌶peppers!- I'm not a huge fan of spicy I wont lie, but peppers of all kinds are very helpful for banishing. I use black pepper because I like it sooo much more than regular peppers. They correspond with the sun & fire.
💥spices- cinnamon, ginger, cloves, and any spicy or warm spice is good for banishment and correspond with sun magic. Cinnamon is my favorite one.
🌼other herbs/plants- dandelion, bay leaves, marijuana, frankincense, juniper
☀️anything that symbolizes a blinding sun or a sun that's too bright to bear, anything scorching for powerful banishment, this can be as simple as letting your ingredients sit in direct sunlight at noon until they're very warm
🌅 sunset and noon- are a good time for banishment
🌻 sunflower and sunflower seeds- I correspond with protection
💎mirror and crystals- mirrors and Crystal's like carnelian, goldstone, sunstone, and pyrite are all good for banishment
💛sun salts, red salts, or black salt
🏹🗡bows and arrows, swords
🌵aloe for more gentle banishment
🏜 desert imagery, desert sand, etc.
⚫the dark side- the sun can be warm, loving, life-giving, and positive but it can also be harsh, relentless, drying, blinding, and can also be associated with war. So embrace the "dark side" of the sun
☀️For a sun witch banishment spell I would personally use:
A jar
Black pepper
Cinnamon
Bay leaves
Juniper
Cloves
Sunflower seeds
A few cuctus needles
A peice of pyrite
Blood -personally I like to use blood in my craft (blood witch & phlebotomist), but this is 100% optional and if you chose to use blood please be safe!
Red salt or sun salt
And then let it charge at noon to sunset in a place where the sunlight feels very warm and blinding/harsh
I hope this helps sunflower!!!🌻😘
"I Feel Feminine" / "I Feel Masculine"
These sigils are mainly meant to help with body dysphoria and dysmorphia, but if they seem like something that would help you I encourage you to use them even if you're not transgender. Carry one or both of these sigils with you however you see fit, feel free to get creative with it.
You could carry it with you as your phone background You could carry it with you just as a slip of paper in your pocket You could even draw it on your face in concealer or lotion before blending it in
Disclaimer: I'm well aware as a nonbinary person myself that gender euphoria isn't just about feeling masculine or feminine and these sigils don't work for everybody's gender experience, they're not meant to, these sigils are specifically for people that want to feel more feminine or masculine or both. These sigils were made by that request. If they don't fit your needs and experience doesn't mean they don't fit or work for other peoples needs and experience of gender so don't come at me. I have sigils made for nonbinary experiences outside of the fem/masc experience, please take the time to look for them or send me a message and I'll be happy to send you links.

A quiet, starry night sky might not seem like a very eerie spectacle, but space can be a creepy place! Monsters lurk in the shadowy depths of the universe, sometimes hidden in plain sight. Many of them are invisible to our eyes, so we have to use special telescopes to see them. Read on to discover some of these strange cosmic beasts, but beware — sometimes fact is scarier than fiction.
You know those nightmares where no matter how fast you try to run you never seem to get anywhere? Black holes are a sinister possible version of that dream — especially because they’re real! If you get too close to a black hole, there is no possibility of escape.
Just last year our Fermi Gamma-ray Space Telescope traced an otherworldly ghost particle back to one of these monster black holes, providing additional insight into the many signals we’re picking up from some of the most feared creatures in the cosmic deep.
But it gets worse. Our Hubble Space Telescope revealed that these things are hidden in the hearts of nearly every galaxy in the universe. That means supermassive black holes lurk in the shadows of the night sky in every direction you look!
This fiendish specter lives in the center of the Milky Way, haunting our galaxy’s supermassive black hole. But it’s not as scary as it looks! Our SOFIA observatory captured streamlines tracing a magnetic field that appears to be luring most of the material quietly into orbit around the black hole. In other galaxies, magnetic fields seem to be feeding material into hungry black holes — beware! Magnetic fields might be the answer to why some black holes are starving while others are feasting.
The universe has bats in the attic! Hubble spotted the shadow of a giant cosmic bat in the Serpens Nebula. Newborn stars like the one at the center of the bat, called HBC 672, are surrounded by disks of material, which are hard to study directly. The shadows they cast, like the bat, can clue scientists in on things like the disk’s size and density. Our solar system formed from the same type of disk of material, but we can only see the end result of planet building here — we want to learn more about the process!
A jack-o-lantern in space?! Our Solar Dynamics Observatory watches the Sun at all times, keeping a close eye on space weather. In October 2014, the observatory captured a chilling image of the Sun with a Halloweenish face!
On Halloween a few years ago, an eerie-looking object known as 2015 TB145 sped across the night sky. Scientists observing it with our Infrared Telescope Facility determined that it was most likely a dead comet. It’s important to study objects like comets and asteroids because they’re dangerous if they cross Earth’s path — just ask the dinosaurs!
Trick-or-treat! Add a piece of glowing cosmic candy to your Halloween haul, courtesy of Hubble! This image shows the Saturn Nebula, formed from the outer layers ejected by a dying star, destined to be recycled into later generations of stars and planets. Our Sun will experience a similar fate in around five billion years.
Massive stars are in for a more fiery fate, as the Witch’s Broom Nebula shows. Hubble’s close-up look reveals wisps of gas — shrapnel leftover from a supernova explosion. Astronomers believe that a couple of supernovae occur each century in galaxies like our own Milky Way.
Supernovae usually herald the death of a star, but on a few occasions astronomers have found “zombie stars” left behind after unusually weak supernovae. Our Nuclear Spectroscopic Telescope Array (NuSTAR) has even spotted a mysterious glow of high-energy X-rays that could be the “howls” of dead stars as they feed on their neighbors.
The universe is brimming with galaxies, but it’s also speckled with some enormous empty pockets of space, too. These giant ghost towns, called voids, may be some of the largest things in the cosmos, and since the universe is expanding, galaxies are racing even farther away from each other all the time! Be grateful for your place in space — the shadowy patches of the universe are dreadful lonely scenes.
Some forces are a lot creepier than floorboards creaking or a door slamming shut unexpectedly when you’re home alone. Dark energy is a mysterious antigravity pressure that our Wide Field Infrared Survey Telescope (WFIRST) is going to help us understand. All we know so far is that it’s present everywhere in the cosmos (even in the room with you as you read this) and it controls the fate of the universe, but WFIRST will study hundreds of millions of galaxies to figure out just what dark energy is up to.

The sun is an enormous force in our lives. She can do a lot of good, but she can also do a lot of damage. One of my favorite things to say is how most things have duality or multifaceted parts. The sun also has positive and negative sides. A gentle sun in spring is still the same sun in a scorching desert. Negative aspects and feelings are a part of life and completely normal, but they should be managed in a respectable way. They are not an excuse to harm people.
🌿 Self confidence
🌿 The ability to “light up a room” and make people laugh
🌿 Nurturing
🌿 Banishing negativity
🌿 Powersource or a source of inspiriation for others
🌿 Protecting others
🌿 Creativity in the arts
🌿 Being prideful to a fault
🌿 Intense anger/rage
🌿 Burning people by harming them through words or actions
🌿 Obsessive behavior
🌿 Feeling too much
🌿 Being easily exhausted
These are the ones that really stand out for me, but any other solar witches feel free to add any I missed!

🍋☀️Winter Sun Lemon Tea☀️🍋
I wanted to make a winter lemonade recipe but then I realized most people dont live in a sub-tropical environment and are freezing cold. So i changed it to a warm lemon tea instead. Even though technically its warm lemonade. It makes 1 cup! 🌟
It's perfect for the winter because yule/winter solstice is a time to focus on solar energies, warmth, and happiness☀️🎄
to bring warmth, happiness, love, cleansing, protection, positivity, and friendship
To purify, anti-bacterial, immune boost, anti-nausea, digestion aid, vitamin C, helps with SAD
1 lemon
Half a teaspoon of any of the following: juniper berries, rosemary, chamomile, mint, rose, hibiscus, dandelion, cinnamon, other citrus or berries (this is a list of possibilities not nessisary items, so dont worry if you only have 1 or 2 of these, they all combine well so you can get creative with the combos!) My personal favorite combo is lemon tea with chamomile, juniper, rose, hibiscus, and a fresh spring of rosemary from my garden. Sometimes I add a little cinnamon to give it an extra warm kick
Hot water
Honey or sugar to sweeten
Your favorite mug
Drink whenever you need a mood boost, cleansing, warmth, etc.
Enjoy it DURING the winter solstice/yule to connect with the days' energies
Share it with a friend, family member, or partner to help bring a closer bond, love, and positive energy
I like to drink mine while holding my favorite citrine or yellow crystal
Because of the strong flavors, I wouldnt let it brew for longer than 10 minutes unless you're sure youd like the strong taste
Use as much of the lemon as you can but I like to just squeeze the halves till it's all juice and then I might add a slice or 2 I saved after
Solgaleo..!!!
I had to paint this gorgeous beast! Look how cute! Look how fluffy! Look at that sun devouring lion! ; v ; * Commissions || Twitter *
I am a solar witch by nature, and I feel like a lot of people don’t understand the protection the sun gives us. The sun is the most dynamic and powerful energy source known to us, hands down. All cosmic light comes from her. Yes, even the moon gets its light from the sun, though most people, myself included, consider the moon a separate entity. I’ve never been attacked or had any negative energy dare come near me in full sunlight. She is powerful and she does not leave.
So, instead of disappearing at night, she simply goes into another form. This is the time solar energy transforms from the singular yellow sun to the more cosmic power of the stars. This is the time when the colder fire of the universe is visible. Starlight is the most mysterious part of solar magick, one that’s softer and comforting, yet incomprehensible.
⭐️ The more stars you can see, the more powerful your spells!
⭐️ If it’s the time of year a certain constellation is visible, you can focus on spells regarding that zodiac or deity
⭐️ August is one of the best months for meteor showers
⭐️ Star water is a thing! It can be affected by whatever constellation you set it under as well
⭐️ Individual stars can also have different spells attached to them (i.e. the morning star, the north star, etc)
⭐️ All crystals are safe to charge under starlight
⭐️ Secret magick
⭐️ Cerebral magick
⭐️ Questions about other beings or entities
⭐️ Divination
⭐️ Spells about our purpose as a being on this plane of existence
⭐️ Spells about our purpose as a being on the next plane of existence
⭐️ Spells for a peaceful sleep or recovery
⭐️ Spells to recharge your astral power or energy sink
⭐️ Spells about dreams or spells trying to induce lucid dreaming
⭐️ Spells for contacting those who are no longer with us

Lemons- happiness, vitality, friendship, rejuvenation, clarity, cleansing, healing, protection, solar energy.
Sugar- sweetness in life, happiness, attraction.
You'll need enough lemons to make 1/2 cup of squeezed lemon juice. For me, that was 3 lemons.
Before juicing them, separate the zest (the bright yellow part of the peel, not the white pith underneath, which will make your syrup bitter).
Then juice the lemons, and add to a pot with 3/4 to 1 cup of white sugar.
Let it boil, and once it does, reduce the boil to a simmer for 10 minutes. If you think the syrup is not thick enough, add more sugar.
Add the zest and turn off the heat entirely. Once it has cooled, strain it to remove all the zest and any pulp. Don't leave the zest in the syrup, even if it looks aesthetically appealing, because it'll turn bitter.
Keep it covered and chilled and it can keep up to a year. You can add it to teas, cocktails, use it for lemonade, drizzle it on pastries, etc.
Abstract Meditation
This is very good meditation to strengthen your energy work.
Achieve a meditative state.
Keeping your eyes closed, concentrate on the emptiness in front of you. Using your mind’s eye, create a small ball of white light in front of you, about the size of a golf ball. Concentrate on it for a moment. Rotate it around in front of you. Try to make it brighter, brighter still. Make it feel so bright it makes you feel warm. Now dim it, dim it to where it was initially. Keep dimming it. Make it as dim as you can without extinguishing it. Feel it cool as you extinguish it.
Now, make it brighter, as bright as when you started. Concentrate on you light again. Now grow your light, make it larger. Make it the size of an orange. Now the size of a beach ball. See how large you can make it. Now bring it back down slowly to golf ball size. Continue slowly to shrink it down, down to the size of grape. Now bring it down to the size of pea. Get it down to the size of pin prick.
Slowly, bring it back to the size of golf ball. Now concentrate on its color. Try and shift the color–first to red, then orange. Next try yellow and green, followed by blue and purple. Change it back to white. Grow it a little, back to the size of orange. Now try to create swirls of red within the white. Now, keep adding colors–orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple–until your ball of light is a swirling rainbow. Now bring the ball back to white.
Take the ball and begin to it until you have long line of light. Take one end of light an flick so it sends a wave traveling down the line. Continue flicking it, sending waves down the line, until you have created a sine-wave type pattern. Stop flicking, and slowly watch as the sine wave dissipates. Now take one end of your line and begin to spin so that you line forms spring like coil. Stop spinning and allow it form back into a line. Take one end of your line and begin to twirl it in a circle until you line forms a spiral in front of you. Watch the spiral turn. Now pull your line until it is straights again.
Take each end of your line and pull them up until your line is now circle of light. Try to shift it into a triangle. Now try a square. Stretch it a little into a rectangle. Now back to a square. Shift it again, this time into hexagon. Now try turning it a star. Shift it again into a crescent moon. Now back to circle.
Take the circle and begin to shrink it down. Keep shrinking the circle until it is your original ball of light. Now slowly dim the ball until it is extinguished. Now, begin to leave you meditative state.
