ppl just don’t listen to the damn radio enough anymore. if you’re like “where will i ever find new alt rock bands to listen to” the answer is… your local alt rock station. or, because it’s a new millenium, if your local alt rock station plays nothing but Heat Waves by Glass Animals over and over, you can just go on the internet and try out the station from the next town over.

If you’re looking for more specific or obscure stuff it’ll be harder but you can still check out college radio stations or independent stations, which tend to be run by hipsters trying to outdo each other by finding not just bands but entire genres that “you probably haven’t heard of.”

i love the radio. try it sometime.
