A Kingdom Hearts fan comic that is set in the dusty, washed out Keyblade Graveyard. The entity known as Darkness has a vaguely humanoid shape and whisps of darkness around it. Vanitas appears as he does in Birth by Sleep. Expressionless, Darkness says “You have fallen from grace, returned to the stagnant state we shed long ago.” Vanitas replies, hands on his hips and a proud smile on his lips, “Are you trying to say that I’m weak?” Darkness answers “That is correct.” Vanitas laughs, “HA! And they say you don’t have a sense of humour!” As Darkness speaks, various visuals serve as examples. Vanitas stands, expression unreadable, each panel posed so the images appear to pierce him. It says “You have been cursed with a heart”. A heart as a ball of light. It continues, “a material form.” An image of Vanitas in the fetal position, a light glowing in his chest. It says, “a human face”. An image of Vanitas’ face, the eyes highlighted. It finishes, its inky tentacle-like speech bubble consuming the panel, “Let us take it all from you.”
A shot of the two standing in the keyblade graveyard, a large distance between them. Darkness says, “Unmake everything, so you may return to us.” A burst of multiple streams of darkness extend from the entity towards Vanitas. Clang! Vanitas summons his keyblade to block the stream of darkness. He yells “Wait!” His body is pushed back on the ground from the effort, stirring up dust with his boots. Vanitas parries the darkness off of him. He holds his keyblade to his side and puts a hand to his chest. He proclaims, “You’re expecting me to just *hand* it over? My heart will be staying right where it is!”
Darkness stands, unphased, having withdrawn back to where it was before, It is framed in an imposing manner. It asks, “Is your heart not the source of your suffering? Wouldn’t you rather not feel those terrible feelings?” An image of Vanitas brought to his knees, hunched over, his arm pulled tightly to his stomach. His face is obscured, but his other hand is attempting to cover his mouth as steady streams of inky darkness spill from it and pile on the ground below him. He is surrounded by faded words listing negative emotions like hate, pain, anger, fear, jealousy, sadness, and envy. It is a reference to the Birth By Sleep Light Novel, where he is prone to vomiting this stuff in a painful fashion. The ink spills into the next panel, evoking the feeling of doom. It’s a close up of Vanitas’ hand shaking as it tightly clenches the handle of his keyblade. He doesn’t speak, only “…” END.

Feelings, what wretched things.

This isn’t commonly known but one of the rings of hell is actually being in a fandom wherein the popular bloggers have the worst opinions known to man that everyone else parrots

male supremacists of color are not handling the exposure of the 4B movement and south asian feminism(s) very well, in light of the kolkata victim and the sexual and physical abuse of south korean women and girls. they are very anxious about the global female solidarity occurring online. male supremacists of all races harbor anxiety over losing control of “their women” due to feminist consciousness, and all male supremacists accuse “their women” of being race traitors for not upholding their ideal form of patriarchy. colonized women can criticize white men for male violence, because colonized men do not want to be controlled by them either, but we must not criticize the men who share our colony for enforcing misogynistic repression. colonized men want to claim their rightful property, without white male influence. their ideal world is one where the yoke of imperialism is abolished, where they are granted freedom from physical and sexual abuse, but the status of women remains intact. they want women to be obedient, because complaining about misogyny makes colonized men appear weak in front of white men. they are right to complain about women of color “emasculating” them for being feminists. to them, “emasculation” occurs when they are denied their right to claim us as property, when they, too, are denied control. don’t fall for these manipulations. their misogyny is not more benevolent, their victimization doesn’t preclude them from patriarchal social control, don’t allow them to make you silently wait in line. either we’re all free, or no one is. 🫡
