I haven't watched Wish, but does this line remind anyone else of Twoey? Specifically the song Mean Green Mother From Outer Space?

Howard Ashman and Alan Menken worked on The Little Mermaid and Little Shop of Horrors, so this could plausibly be a purposeful reference

Does anyone have any additional insight into this like potential parallels between Magnifico and Twoey/additional references/etc?

Audrey's father left to get the milk very early on, and she barely remembers him. Her family had been middle class and living in a good neighborhood before this happened, but her mom wasn’t able to find a job that paid well enough for them to keep the house after her husband left (sexism yay), and they ended up in Skid Row. Audrey was just old enough to kind of understand what was happening at the time, and she has some vague memories from before she ended up in Skid Row. This is why she is the only character who has a Brooklyn accent.

i know you could explain it all with rule of funny or ''they did it on purpose as a gag'' but

sans has the uncanny ability to read your face like a book and know exactly what you're thinking with a glance. he also constantly misses papyrus' jokes and treats them like genuine questions.

papyrus talks to you over the phone and somehow manages to conceptualize where you are and what you're doing from your tone alone. if, however, you gave him a picture of asgore and toriel, the only way he could tell them apart would be by their clothes.

tone-deaf sans/face blind papyrus. they're both autistic in perfectly mirrored ways so when they talk they keep missing each other by a hairbreadth
