me when i spend a long time drawing something that really does not look good at all and is honestly too ugly to want to share with anybody but i still recognize that it was worth the time and effort because i still gained practice and experience from it that will contribute toward improving my skills

last life headcanons and how the lives work. I did this with my dear friend @hcgrian and we couldn't think of anything cool for everyone so now it's up for interpretation and you guys can suggest cool stuff

grian and pearl have connecting sun and moon necklaces but if one of them loses a life the necklaces get bigger and if one of them dies the necklaces are no longer connectable

Tango's lives are represented by heart cards. When somebody gave him a life another heart appeared on his card

Skizz's hearts are represented by dice. The amount of lives he has is the amount of numbers shown on the dice.

Bdubs's hearts are represented by a clock. There's no clear indication of how many he has on it but the closer he gets to red the closer the clock gets to midnight.

Jimmy's hearts are represented by his spyglass. His spyglass is different from the rest of the southners since he can't really lose it or break it. It has 2 golden hearts embaded on it.

Impulses hearts are represented by a compass that only points south. The closer he is to red the more south it points. (Because of the saying "before things go south" and because he lives in the south!)

Lizzie's lives are represented by the flowers in her flower crown. If she dies or gives a life to another person the flower instantly dies.

Scott's lives are represented by his crown obviously! But some people say that when he was close to being red his golden crown looked almost like antlers.

Mumbo has goggles that change colours according to his lives and it has soft golden hearts embaded on it like jimmy

They don't know the amount of lives they have until they find this special item that represents them.

They need to break the item after they die so for example for a Boogeyman kill (or any kill) to truly count they have to break the item as that's where their souls are stored.

And as more time goes on and as more lives are lost the item slowly breaks until the player dies and there's no longer a soul stored inside it, then the item goes back to where it was found waiting for a new player. To corrupt them with bloodlust slowly

And that's how all the players got into last life. By accidentally coming across these items.

Imagine Joel and Lizzie peacefully sitting in Katherine's kingdom making flower crowns for eachother after marrying eachother. That was the last time they were able to be happy together.

Imagine pearl crafting necklaces for her and grian for his birthday. It was a genuine gift so why did this happen?

Imagine jimmy crafting the spyglass to make fun of sausage and spy on him. It was just a joke so why?

Imagine jimmy gifting this crown to Scott on their date. He thought he'd look cute so what caused this to happen?

Imagine tango and skizz just cheerfully playing card games. Nothing bad should've happened.

Imagine keralis crafting a clock for bdubs because he felt bad for stealing all of them. Again nothing bad should've happened right?

Zed gifted goggles to mumbo because of the amount of times he's exploded end crystals Infront of his face. He thought it'd be funny so what happened to mumbo?

Scar gave the compass to impulse as a joke because he kept on getting lost in his massive factory. Scar wanted to help him out and poke fun at him so why again?

the question 'why?'

why those items made by hand, with love and care for eachother, to be gifted, to have a good time, to be used for a prank, for a game, for a nice gift

why something out of pure love and kindness, had to be used against them?
