Dragons are a girl's best friends
I think part of the inherent comedy of AFFC is Jaime starting to see Cersei as his sibling again…. like not his sister-lover but his sibling who says and does things that annoy him and keeps trying to boss him around and who he’s bickering with in front of their uncle…. he’s been thinking of her as first and foremost a lover for years, and ‘sister’ as synonymous w that, but now he’s back and the romance is falling apart and he realises oh shit yeah siblings are fucking annoying
Again from rereading Sherlock Holmes stories, I need to know who dramatized and adapted the Granada series so I can give them a little kiss on the forehead for expanding on the themes so well. There are times I think they even improved the source material. The Dying Detective is the best example imo but Greek Interpreter might be second. Wisteria Lodge is also an improvement but that was a coincidence
if i had a nickel for every time a doctor who episode had a political allegory episode that managed to at the same time accurately portray a genuine issue in current society whilst still missing the mark on holding the root cause accountable and villainising someone genuinely and justifiably angry at said issue but was just going about bringing justice to it in the wrong way, I would have two nickels. which isn't a lot but it's starting to get on my nerves
big brown eyes. long dark hair
rhaenyra targaryen. you have a fucking type
criminal from a sherlock holmes story: good heavens I've just committed a crime! time for a smoke
sherlock holmes: hi I am the most knowledgeable tobacco ash expert in the world you are fucked
I’m positive the only reason those fans didn’t say heaven sent was their favorite episode is because they don’t want to admit to someone that the time they were tortured for 2 billion years was incredibly entertaining.
