I loved the Vegas and Pete scene in the temple because it truly shows how both Vegas and Pete function but also how the power structure between them truly comes into play.
Vegas and Pete both know that the other person is not there innocently and not coming into this conversation innocently. Vegas knows Pete is there to spy on him and Pete knows that Vegas is always up to no good, always wearing a fake heart on his sleeve.
And the entire scene is both of them not talking about that. Not touching on that. But nudging. Little pokes. Almost entirely from Pete but each response from Vegas is the same nudge in return.
They both know that they are not who they seem. They are both wearing masks for the world. They are both not who they are for the sake of the people around them.
And they see it in each other.
But the power structure, Vegas being able to order Pete around, Pete being unable to say no, Pete getting dragged along with them, Vegas showing him his own calmness in the face of the world...
Pete knows this isn't Vegas. And Vegas knows that too.
They both know that the other person knows but both of them are pretending they don't.
They both act like they're wearing their hearts of their sleeves while their true emotions lies behind a mask and their hearts are hidden. Vegas chained his up and Pete's is protected with a smile.
(no book spoilers)
Regardless if Pete is just manipulating Vegas, so he can get out of the chains and escape, I pray Pete has the best mind-blowing sex with Vegas...
then, he leaves him while he sleeps in bliss right next to him
and takes his hedgehog when he sneaks out leaving Vegas all alone with his chains.
Take the book too for good measure!
Thank you and happy Pride to you too The 8 sense people but I need Korean BLs to stop giving us bts and takes THEY KNOW DAMN WELL ARE BETTER THEN THE ONE THEY PUT IN THE SHOW ! I’ve already suffered for Roommates of Poongduck AND Our dating sim AND NOW THIS ?

That scene was after a round ON THE FLOOR AND YOU ARE TELLING ME NOW FOR WHY ?
ALSO THE BOOK QUOTES OVER THE SCENE ?
BONUS YOU MEAN TO TELL ME THEY DID ONLY ONE TAKE OF EACH ???!!! These actors are insanely talented and at ease with each other because the biting was just them playing around and it made it to the show I’M GAGGING.
This elderly woman was one of the leaders of demonstrations against the Vietnam War in 1968, when she was a student at Columbia University. Today, 56 years later, she returns to the same place and says, "Palestine must be free."

could the ugly, untalented gays please report to the principal's office?
Anthony Ramos as Eladio
the korean web drama Fragile that was first announced as korean remake of Skam and then was retracted as such and advertised as its own show (with similar model of airing and themes) premiered
i skimmed through episode 1 and plainly, it is Skam. not just similar or reminds of, but a really damn faithful adaptation of the show, remade with korean filming style and mood. the story, characters' profiles and traits, relationships, the storytelling style (like intro speech about societal problems of high schoolers), showing the date of events in the beginning of a clip, the airing model with bonuses on social media, it's all identical. we have a korean Eva with horrible insecurities and loneliness, korean Ingrid who makes her feel like shit in classes, her boyfriend korean Jonas whose affection she is so unconfident about
korean Isak is very possessive of korean Jonas and his feelings can be seen like 5 kilometers away so i assume if it's renewed for more seasons we will see a gay storyline later too
korean Noora briefly appeared in the middle of the episode too and seems to be as cool as the original which thank god, korean Eva is gonna need her influence badly
if anyone is a Skam fan and wanted to watch back when it was announced and got discouraged when it was retracted as a remake, you can do it. as long as they don't suddenly go completely different way in episode 2, it's Skam Korea
