a lot of people understand that trans women aren't the same as cis women and that fact doesn't make them any less of a woman, yet do not hold that same process of thought for trans men. we will get treated like we are cis men and when we point out we have different expiration and aren't the same as cis men, we are told we are misgendering ourselves and we should be grateful we are being treated this way because it should be affirming our gender. its so frustrating.
