Abolish Tesla.

I’ll never understand why anthropomorphic animal cartoons like Robin Hood and Zootopia will go to the trouble of creating character designs that are meant to be understood as “attractive” or even “sexy” to the human audience but explicitly avoid showing interspecies romances between anthropomorphic animals. Why is THAT weird but, like, trying to make rabbits recognizably sexy-coded to humans isn’t?

I was a limbless body floating in the vacuum of space for what felt like years. All of a sudden, a rotting corpse with a black cat’s head called to me by the name Phobos.

It spoke to me in a language I didn’t understand, but I agreed to whatever it said.

I was then sealed within a planet and spent hundreds of years experiencing life through the eyes and ears of the inhabitants (namely one girl who I later found out looks suspiciously like Aphrodite) of this planet.

Years pass and a black shadow begins to envelop the whole planet, exposing me at the very center. It looked at me with sockets where eyes should be, and warned me that I’ll end up back where I started.

Lyra, my beloved cat of 13 years, passed away this year on Father's Day. She's been by my side through very difficult times and was my little rock of steady and unrelenting love. I struggled a lot drawing this, and struggled a lot posting it, but I know I would've wanted to read a comic like this that validated my grief for her when I lost her.

Wherever you are, Lyra my little summer star, I love you always! Thank you for being the best thing in my life.
