You're living with your mafia husband tom. Your guys marriage was arranged by your parents 2 years ago as they wanted you to marry rich. As much as you hated the arranged marriage you tried to cope with him as best as you could.

You thought you could get happy overtime but in his presence you couldn't help but feel like he sees you as someone superfluous since he rarely spends any time with you.

One night you were waiting for him to come home from work. It was pretty late 1:00am to be exact, and he still hasn't returned home so you finally decided to go to bed after waiting for hours and you where beginning to get tired.

Before you headed upstairs you left some food for him on the kitchen counter in case he was hungry when he finally decides to get home whenever that will be.

You where now laying in the bed but couldn't sleep. You kept tossing and turning. You let out a defeated huff as you tried and tried to sleep but just couldn't.

Suddenly you hear the front door open making you sit up freeze in the position you where laying down in. It was tom just getting home.

You didnt want to stand up because as you expected he would just ignore you and act like you weren't there or important to him. So instead you acted like you where asleep.

As you pretended to be asleep you could hear that he was eating the food that you had left for him on the kitchen counter. You couldn't help but smile a bit but stopped and carried on acting like you where asleep.

Later you heard that he has came into the bedroom. It was quiet for a moment before he got undressed into just his boxers. He suddenly walked up to you and started stroking you. Starting at your hair and slowly sliding down to your cheek caressing it softly.

"Thanks for the food honey" He whispers to you in a soft, caring tone. You startled inside but still pretended to be asleep when he lifted the blanket and laid beside you.

You could feel his arms sliding around your waist as he pulled you close into his chest spooning you. You could feel his heartbeat on your back as you both fell asleep peacefully in each others arms.
