The Red Keep hummed with quiet excitement, a rare gentleness settling over the halls as the news spread. The queen had given birth to another child, a girl, and the brothers were brought to see their sister for the first time.

Aegon, stomped ahead, his silver-blond hair a wild mess that matched the glint of mischief in his violet eyes. โ€œI donโ€™t see why everyoneโ€™s so fussed,โ€ he grumbled, casting a look over his shoulder at Aemond, who followed more cautiously. โ€œSheโ€™s just a babe. Probably all wrinkly and loud.โ€

Aemond didnโ€™t reply. He wasnโ€™t quite sure what to expect. His small hand clutched the edge of his older brotherโ€™s sleeve, his wide eyes taking in every detail as they approached the cradle where their sister lay sleeping. Aegon made a face as they neared. โ€œSee? Sheโ€™s not doing anything interesting.โ€

Despite his words, Aegon leaned over the cradleโ€™s edge, his annoyance more curious than he let on. Aemond stood on his toes beside him, peering over, almost shyly. Inside the cradle was the tiniest babe theyโ€™d ever seen, her silver hair softer than the finest silk, curling slightly on her tiny head. Her cheeks were pink and round, and she slept peacefully, her breaths soft and steady.

Aegon wrinkled his nose. โ€œSheโ€™s so small.โ€ He reached out and gave her a gentle poke on the cheek. โ€œHey, wake up.โ€

Aemond gasped softly, his eyes wide. โ€œDonโ€™t!โ€ he whispered, though he was just as curious. He glanced back down at her, nervous that Aegon might have hurt her.

The babe stirred, her little nose scrunching up. Aegon watched in surprise as her eyelids fluttered open slowly, revealing the same violet eyes that both brothers shared. She blinked up at them, her gaze drifting between Aegonโ€™s smirk and Aemondโ€™s wide-eyed stare. Then, as if recognizing them in some deep, instinctual way, the corners of her tiny mouth curled into a soft, gentle smile.

Both boys froze, their hearts seeming to stop at the same moment. Aegon, who had been ready to declare his sister boring and unimportant, suddenly found himself captivated by that smile. His earlier irritation melted away, replaced with something warm and protective he didnโ€™t quite understand. โ€œSheโ€™sโ€ฆ sheโ€™s smiling at us,โ€ he whispered, almost in awe.

Aemond, who had been hesitant, felt his heart swell. He reached out a tiny hand, his fingers barely brushing her soft, pudgy one. โ€œSheโ€™s beautiful,โ€ he breathed, his voice filled with wonder.

The babe made a small, contented sound, her tiny hand curling instinctively around Aemondโ€™s finger. Her eyes, so large and innocent, stayed fixed on her brothers, as if already knowing how important they would be in her life. Aegon reached out too, letting her grab his finger with surprising strength. The moment was simple, yet so lovely. The two boys stared down at their sister, completely captivated, forgetting any doubts or teasing words.

Aegon, who had been ready to dismiss her, now felt a fierce surge of love and protectiveness. โ€œI guessโ€ฆ I guess sheโ€™s not so bad,โ€ he admitted, but there was no mistaking the affection in his voice.

Aemond just nodded, still entranced, his heart swelling with a love he had never felt before. โ€œWeโ€™ll take care of her,โ€ he said softly, a promise in his quiet words.

I really want to know what it would be like if Senya, being a dreamer, was like Heleana but with the flowers, but talking about more characters, like the Twins, Daemon, Luke, Nyra, Jace, Aegon III and their futures babies

i feel like in the same thing, she refers to people as flowers. she has specific flowers that she uses for specific people.

helaena is carnation (it symbolizes mother's love which i think senya would definitely see automatically because helaena loves senya so much and loves her mother a lot too)

aegon iii is red crysanthemum (it means 'i love you' in flower language.)

otto is hollyhock (it means ambition. do with that what you will.)

luke is sorrel (which means affection)

jace is dwarf sunflower (which means adoration)

daemon is tiger lily (which means wealth and pride, senya knows daemon is prideful, its one of the things she loves about him. her grand-uncle is prideful! and she loves him for it!!!)

jaehaerys is lilac (joy of youth) and jaehaera is larkspur (open heart) which are both traits she views her younger siblings as.

rhaenyra is aster (which means symbol of love. senya loves rhaenyra just as much as she loves her papa and mama)

aegon ii is edelweiss (it means devoted love. i think aegon ii is devoted to being senya's father, someone she can look up to.)

when senya gives out prophesies, she only refers to them in the flowers they remind her off, so people think she's just being nonsensical.

Summarised: (your name) died in a horrific way, but she has been reborn in a new world, where the body she is trapped in is (your name) Targaryen, daughter of Alicent Hightower and Viserys Targaryen, who took her own life after the death of her dear sister Helaena, who was very close to her.

Warning: This story contains descriptions of sexual violence and vulgar language, a small change of ages of the characters to make more sense.

You just want to relax at least one second or two, maybe end that series or read that special book. Being at university was tough but it was even tougher having a job too in a bar, where if a man showed even a minor interest in you will go he would comein you direction, visibly drunk, smelly and disgusting putting money in your uniform and saying obscenities. Some would just go and leave you alone if you were lucky, but others would try to follow you or even try to touch you, but you always managed to get away and escape them. But is seems that this time, you didn't. Now you were pulled into a lonely alley, next to the trash, with an obviously drunk man, with ginger hair, horrible teeth and a foul smell he gave you a ten-dollar tip but now he was trying to take your clothes off. Fighting and fighting, that's the only thing you could do, and the worst of all you just DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO. How to getting yourself out of this situation? He was stronger and bigger than you, he had already taken you underwear off under your skirt until he freed one hand to unzip his jeans, so you put your only free hand in his eye, pressing as hard you could and with rage.

"Ahh! bloody bitch!"

When he let you go, you ran as fast you could, but he grabbed your ankle, causing you to hit your head. You felt dizzy, numb, and you couldn't move your body. Plus your vision was lost; you could only see the little mark on the wall, a dragon with more than one head or at least you thought could see.

"Hey! Get up! I'm not playing! GET UP, BITCH!"

You just heard him, you wished, you really wished that you could get up, but you couldn't. You felt water around your head and neck, but you could see now, it was not water, it was blood, your blood. Now it was cold or at least it was for you, and it was catching you, cold, and colder you felt. that bastard haad gone already, leaving you there, alone, cold, and without underwear. Maybe is a good idea to take a nap, isn't it? Maybe in the morning everything will be better, just maybe.

When you wake up, you are in your crib, hungry, and alone, so you did the only thing you could: you cried.

"What is wrong now, dear?" A woman came up, your mother, "You are hungry, right?" your mother look at you with a soft smile, taking out her breast, she gently brushed your hair as you fed.

You are her little baby, her replica. She wasnโ€™t going to use you like she did with your brothers; you would have freedom in this harsh world, she often thought about your future. But one thing was certain: you werenโ€™t going anywhere from her side. Before she could think of anything else. She left you in your crib, your stomach already full. Even though her other sons wasnโ€™t like you, she loved them. Itโ€™s just that you were like herโ€”you have her hair, her nose, her cheeks, and even her smile. You only have your big purple eyes, but that didnโ€™t matter. The only thing that mattered was that you were another piece of her.

Even though she didnโ€™t like to admit it, you were her favourite. And even if she never said it, it was obvious to everyone. She fed you herself; you didnโ€™t have a wet nurse like your siblings. She knew that, apart from Rhaenyra, you were the second favourite of the king, her husband. And then there was your sister Helaena, always watching you with her curious eyes, who was only one year older than you. As for Aegon, well, he would always be Aegonโ€”jealous of all the attention and love you received. Of course, he loved you, but why? Why did you receive so much attention and affection? He felt like he had to beg for even a little, as if he didnโ€™t have a grain of love, as if he wasnโ€™t special.

Yandere House Of The Dragon X ModernReborn!Reader

A while later that night, the doors opened, letting in your dear father, followed by someone behind himโ€”your older sister, Rhaenyra. With a smile on his lips and without greeting anyone, not even his wife, he went straight to your crib.

"How is the little one? It seems sheโ€™s resting just fine," he said, touching your cheek lovingly. "Everything is fine; she just needs her space, Your Grace," Alicent responded, her voice tense. "She looks like you, but I can feel the dragon inside her," said Rhaenyra, gazing down at you beside her father. "Yes, but I really need the two of you to go. Sheโ€™s already asleep, and I donโ€™t want anyone disturbing her andโ€”" before the Queen could finish, Rhaenyra interrupted. "We arenโ€™t making any noise. Just five minutes wonโ€™t hurt, being by her side."

"Please, Alicent, sheโ€™s just a baby. She doesnโ€™t need space; we can stay here with her," the King responded, a touch of obviousness in his voice. "As you command, Your Grace," Alicent replied.

The only thing Alicent could do in that moment was clench her fists behind her back and bite the inside of her cheek, merely watching as her husband and Rhaenyra hovered over your crib, oblivious to the tension and rage on her face. You stirred lightly in your sleep, unaware of the silent battle above you.

"Youโ€™ll see, my Queen, sheโ€™ll be like meโ€”like a dragon, big and strong," Rhaenyra said softly, her voice filled with affection as she gazed at you.

Alicentโ€™s eyes narrowed, her frustration growing with each word Rhaenyra spoke about you and herself. How dare she compare herself to my daughter? Alicent thought bitterly. And how dare they act as if they know whatโ€™s best for her? You were her child, and you would never be like Rhaenyra, bearing bastards and shaming the name and duty of your house.

"Yes, sheโ€™ll be strong. But now, letโ€™s leave her to rest. Itโ€™s late, and we donโ€™t want to wake her," the King said, turning to Alicent. "Thank you, my dear. Youโ€™ve done well."

Alicent bowed her head, the polite gesture hiding her fury. "Of course, Your Grace."

As they turned to leave, Alicent stood by your crib, just the two of you once more, her mind racing. She would protect you, no matter what. You were her baby.

Yandere House Of The Dragon X ModernReborn!Reader

The next morning Alicent was awaken by the maids, who prepare her for the day, when she came back in her room were you were before, your crib was empty. Scared call one of the maids

"Where's my daughter?!" She asked with anxiety and tension clear in his voice. "I'm not sure, my Queen. I'll find out right away."

While the maid was gone, Alicentโ€™s anxiety grew. She rushed out of the room, determined to find her daughter. Who dared take her baby away from her protection?

She searched everywhere, her worry mounting with each passing moment. It wasnโ€™t until she reached the garden that she finally saw youโ€”her little baby girlโ€”in the arms of Rhaenyra, walking through the garden with her illegitimate sons, as if nothing had happened,as if they had just stolen her baby.

"How dare you?!" Alicent's pace quickened as she moved to take you into her arms. Before she could reach you, Rhaenyra stepped aside, still carrying you, blocking Alicentโ€™s path.

โ€œWe were just taking a walk. She looked so bored and alone in her room, so I thought it would be nice for her to get a little sun,โ€ Rhaenyra explained, gently brushing the little bit of hair you had.

โ€œSheโ€™s not yours to decide that! She is my dauโ€”โ€ Alicent began, but before she could continue, Viserys cut her off. โ€œAlicent! Stop right now. She is my daughter too, and I think itโ€™s a good idea that she spends time with her sister and nephews.โ€

Defedent Alicent just look the little smirk that Rhaenyra gave her. Rhaenyra triumphantly thanked her father, and walked away with you and her little toddlers.

How could she protect you when you had been taken from her side so easily? Why did no one listen to her about what she wanted for her baby? Why was everyone so ignorant?

While Rhaenyra was just happy, feeling she had won against Alicent for you, her little sister, she imagined everything would be better if you were her daughter, her little baby. But Alicent always seemed to step in the way. Soon, you and Rhaenyra would be inseparable. Perhaps you could marry one of her sons, and in that way, you would be with her forever. She envisioned herself as your mother, but ultimately, she would be your mother, no matter whatโ€”regardless of Alicentโ€™s rants or even your brothers.

Request for big sister reader please with platonic yanderes Aegon, Helaena, and Aemond where reader is the one who has cared for them since young so they absolutely adore her. However, Rhaenyra wants to take her full sister with her to Dragonstone. The three do whatever it takes to make sure reader stays with them.

You were only a few years younger than Rhaenyra. Old enough to grieve your mother, who you loved greatly but not old enough to feel the same injustice your sister did when your father remarried and decided to take Lady Alicent as his wife.

In the months between Alicent becoming queen and up until Aegon's birth, Rhaenyra became increasingly more at your side, shooting Alicent a distasteful glare whenever she got close to you, even doing so when it was your father who came near you.

You were her sister, her flesh and blood, you both mourned, you were vulnerable, she wouldn't let anyone take advantage of you in this state.

But she couldn't deny the jealousy eating at her when you happily started to carry Aegon around, beaming and happily chatting about your new baby sibling to anyone who would listen.

You loved Aegon, of course, he was loud and sticky and stinky, like all babies were but he was your baby brother! You were his big sister, so you'd always love him and look out for him.

"Do you like your new brother, dearest?" Your father asked you one day, running his hair softly through your hair and you nodded happily, beaming up at him.

"Yes! I like Aegon a lot, I'm his big sister! So, I'll take care of him." You were happy at the touch of affection from your father.

Viserys, Alicent, and Otto all smiled at the answer which only incensed Rhaenyra more. You were her sister! Not that... that stupid baby's! He had only been born but he was stealing you and her rightful place as the next ruler from her. Her father had promised and sworn but he had the son he wanted now, so what would happen now?

Nothing, as she found out, she was still the next ruler, as the King's first born child. The revelations calmed her fears, as did the happiness on your face when you congratulated her.

She could always count on you. Her lovely sister.

Just as you adored Aegon, you love Helaena just as much. You had a little sister! Your very own little sister! She was such a quiet thing, but just as lovely!

Her quietness made her no less lovely to you. You carried her around, bringing her flowers to show her and little bugs in small jar before letting them go.

"If you love something, let them go. If they love you, they'll come back. That is why I'll always be by your side, lovely Aegon, sweet Helaena." You cooed at the three year old Aegon and eight months old Helaena.

"Sister." Aegon babbled, clinging close to you. He hated being away from you.

only about six months late, came baby Aemond and Rhaenyra hated how doting you were.

But things were peaceful for a while, things were still good. you spent most of your time with Aegon, Helaena, and Aemond. Taking walks with them, reading to them, playing with them.

Rhaenyra remained distant from them but not from you, she was as close as ever with you. She wanted to bring you to dragonstone. it was hers. as the heir, it was hers but you didn't want to leave while your younger siblings were still growing up.

She didn't want to leave you, so she let it be.

You were so happy for your sister when she got married, happy for your cousin Laenor too. You were even happier when both Alicent and your sister announced their pregnancies to you.

"Oh! Rhaenyra! I'm so happy for you!" You held her hands in yours, a beaming smile on your face. "Oh! I wonder if it'll be a girl or a boy!" You beamed happily before turning to your stemother.

"I'm so happy for your too! I'll be a big sister again! Oh, i wonder if Aegon, Helaena, and Aemond will be happy too." It'll Aemond's first time being a younger brother! You're overjoyed for him.

Alicent and Rhaenyra glared at each other when you weren't looking and you were oblivious as you were sucked in your joy.

You didn't get much time with Daeron but you were overjoyed by him, always trying to be there for him but Jace.

Oh sweet Jace, you adored your nephew. You coddled him endlessly, which Rhaenyra was happy about and your younger siblings weren't. Their nephew was jjust a bastard child, what did he have that they didn't?

It only became worse with luke's birth. They hated them both.

When Rhaenyra decided to leave for Dragonstone, she begged you to come with her.

"Oh, sister. Our younger siblings needs me here," You didn't want to make your sister feel bad but your siblings were still so young! Aemond was such a fragile child, as was Helaena and Aegon.

Rhaenyra held your hands in hers, her face twisted into a saddened expression. "I need you as well, sister. I am..." There was one more thing she could try to convince you with. "I am frightened, sister. All these baseless rumors. They all sneer at my children, I can't take it anymore. Jace and Luke, Joffrey too, I don't want them to bear the consequences of the ill rumors." It wasn't manipulation, she was indeed scared but if this took you aware from her siblings who sneered at her children and from her stepmother who openly questioned her children's legitimacy, then so be it.

Your face fell and you were quick to try and soothe your sister. "Oh! Oh, sister, do not fret." You whispered softly, hugging her softly, "Those awful people with nothing better to do! Jace is a prince, your heir, and luke will be the heir of driftmark one day, I am certain of it. How dare they!" Your sister shouldn't have to suffer such things.

"All I need is you by my side, please come with me." Rhaenyra pleaded with you.

"Oh, of course, I'll come with you. I shouldn't be away too long though." You fretted softly and Rhaenyra softly smiled at you.

You'd be too content to worry about coming back, she'd make sure of it.

As you left to dragonstone with Rhaenyra and her family, Rhaenyra waved at the watching trio while you weren't watching, only angering them further.

'I win.' she smiled as you.

Yan!Parents Alicent and Viserys Headcannons (Platonic)

(Forgive me for any mistakes this is my first time)

Mention of death, suicide, obsessive, possessive behavior, manipulation, unhealthy father, force pregnancy, and not good writing.

Pairing: Platonic Alicent and Viserys ร— female reader

Yan!Parents Alicent And Viserys Headcannons (Platonic)

To be honest Alicent was looking forward to the arrival of her first child well Viserys was excited. She was still young to have a child but hoped it was a boy for Viserys duty.

When she first gave birth to you and hold you...she felt like she was at the end of the world. Childbirth hurted is what she always said but when she get to see you put in her arms she couldn't help to smile in joy.

Viserys wasn't mad that she gave birth to a girl but he was happy to hold you in his arms. He looked up at your lilac eyes, a combination of his white hair and Alicent brown hair he just couldn't help to cry a bit.

They both swear to themselves to always protect you and your innocence. They turn extremely protective when you grown up close to your marriagable age. Alicent wouldn't let nobody have you. You are HER child and nobody is going to take you away from her even if she have to manipulate you in the process.

Viserys wouldn't let NOBODY Absolute NOBODY disrespect you not even Rhaenrya or any of his family. He feels like he own you, like he's entitle to you since of his inner dragon (per Viserys saying). He would get rid of anybody that do wrong to you, he would even have his guards kill someone if you demand it.

Alicent wants to do as she says. She wants to control you (kinda like how her father did) and not really follow in her footsteps but for you to have a better life then her. She would go a little mad if you get her depending on how mildly it is. If it's a paper cut you'll get caring Alicent if you are seriously injured then you get crazy mad Alicent.

If you want any suitors then they would go through serious questions about them and their house and many other things. If you really like your suitor then they let you marry them only on one rule and that's to kill him if he hurt you in any way.

They would go thick and thin to do anything for you and I mean EVERYTHING. You want this? You can have it! You would get spoiled anytime they can get stuff. Now your suitor on the other hand....

They are just like your mother and father. Another hand to deal with but maybe a less crazy one. Oop nevermind he tried to kill Aegon and Aemond because they was kinda plotting on stealing you away.

He did forcefully get you pregnant and when he heard he was SO happy about it....a little. His plan kinda backfire now you are just giving your baby more time then giving him time with you.

Jealous Boi until you actually give him time in which they just melt in your hand.

Your parents on the other way is happy to have a grandchild despite Alicent having Aegon marry our Helaena and having children. Alicent and Helaena like to make things for them and Viserys just loves playing toys with them. Your brothers are jealous that they don't have their sister love anymore.

When the war started Alicent hid you away and wanted to protect you even if it cost her life. She would do anything to make sure you're safe.

Aurelia Targaryen The Bastard Princess Pt.3
Aurelia Targaryen The Bastard Princess Pt.3

Aurelia Targaryen the bastard princess Pt.3

. Oftentimes, Aurelia finds that the only place she finds true solitude in, is her own chambers. Countless tapestries lining the walls, ornate boxes filled with sewing materials and threads. Small tapestries and embroidery linens, ranging from messily woven threads and clumsy stitches, all from her youth in the castle- you can see the progression throughout her entrapment in the castle. Stitches become tighter and neater, the images more skilled and visible, and the quality of thread becomes dearer and dearer. Her fingers are still often pricked with needle marks, even now.

Her room is the only territory she has free reign in. The sheets upon her bed, the shelves of childhood toys- glass dragons and dolls lining the carved wooden compartments, and her creations of thread that depict all that she wants. Soaring dragons, still pictures of nature, and even an attempted portrait of her mother after coming to the conclusion one day that she has forgotten what her face looked like. They all bring bitter sweet memories, recalling how she'd smooth her little fingers over the glossy spine of the little glass dragon whenever she was upset at the dinner table, fiddling with it to keep her tears at bay. They often collect dust now, her past leering at her as dancing shadows in the light of the burning fireplace. Fire crackling and sizzling, the sound of rain pelting hard against the window panes as the sky grows darker.

. Every evening gets a little easier when it is time to dine with her 'family'. As a child she would be squished between her two brothers, Jace and Luke, to keep her docile and well-fed whenever she grew tired of eating and decided to strop instead. With age, she grew more resilient and patient. No longer pulling long faces towards her father, or curious glances towards the king and his wife. Now she likes to sit quietly and contemplate, moving her food around with her fork as she listens to cutlery and goblets clink, murmured discussions amongst the dinner table, and occasionally speaking or dancing with Helaena whenever her mood grows less lethargic.

. Seated close to Heleana, her gown of cream and gold contrasting with Helaenas' dress of forget me not blue and silver, she inspects the little beetle figure between her fingertips- smoothing over the intricacies as Heleana softly utters little enamoured comments about it. Sharing little smiles amongst themselves, before her concentration fizzles at the feeling of being watched. Aurelia peers up for a split second, and is met with Aemond's heavy stare. Even as she acknowledges him, he doesn't break the eye contact- he simply taps his thumb against the table like a ticking clock. She cannot find a name for how she feels- frightened? Confused? Concerned?

. Music fills the room as musicians start to play, and the talk amongst the table turns sweet and merry. Gathering her skirts of gold in a fist, she offers her hand to Heleana, who sweetly accepts it. Aemond's stare was beginning to make her skin itch.

The two princesses begin to dance, their families watching with gracious smiles and joyous laughter. Their palms ghost upon one another, held high towards the candle-lit ceiling, as they circle slowly in a soft rhythm of swaying skirts of sunlight and rain, their long pale hair glittering in gold candlelight.

Viserys watches on happily, almost relieved at the sight of the two princesses dancing. His family is whole and content.

Aegon claps to the music, tipsy and flushed in the face from his mouthfuls of wine.

Alicent smiles and sips her wine, fingers clasped together in rejoicing at the sight of her daughter getting along with Daemon's child.

Otto claps to the music, only not intoxicated, and much more on beat. For once he smiles openly at the two princesses, even he was not an exemption to the contagious joy in the room.

Daemon is relaxed in his seat, watching his daughter have fun and smile. A sight not often bestowed to him.

Aemond simply watches the two princesses dance like an owl, his chair moved to an angle so that he can fold his hands upon his knee that is propped upon his other leg. Like a perched raven.

Jace and Luke, Baela and rhaena, all eat and chat. Feeling calm and full from the food.

. Not all dinners are as nice as this, so everyone relishes in the moment.

Hello, Can You Do A Headcannon Yandere (father) King Henry And Yandere (mother) Anna Boleyn With Their

Anne was desperate to conceive a male heir, her only hope of staying alive and maintaining the interest of the King who, after some miscarriages and the birth of a daughter, has already began to wander towards one of her ladies-in-waiting.

So when she discovered a new pregnancy, she desperately prayed for a son and that she wouldn't suffer another miscarriage. She could not bear the loss and pain. Henry was pleased with the new pregnancy, but worried. Anne had already had several miscarriages and was only able to produce one healthy child, a daughter.

Anne took great care of herself during her pregnancy, taking care of what she ate and drank and trying to maintain good health. The first few months were the most tense, with fear enveloping both Anne and Henry. As the pregnancy progressed and there was no miscarriage, Anne became more confident.

When the day finally arrived to give birth, she was anxious. Henry was also anxious and he was so nervous when he heard Anne screaming outside the room, he didn't know what to think. When a baby's cries finally came after what seemed like hours, he entered the room.

Anne held her baby on her lap and cried softly and when a doctor approached Henry and said, "Congratulations, Your Majesty. You have an heir", it was the first time that Henry felt complete happiness. When he picked you up, he was smiling from ear to ear. Not only were you the much-desired male heir but you also saved your mother's head.

Both of them would be extremely overprotective of their only son and those close to you will be scrutinized. Henry has become very paranoid about your safety and takes every precaution possible.

You are always by your mother or father's side, you cannot be alone at any time with a stranger. Anne, especially, would like to keep you sewn to her side all the time. She cares about you a lot and is always checking up on you. When you get sick, she becomes paranoid that you will die.

You are your parents' greatest pride and Henry doesn't try to hide it. He neglects all his other children and gives you all his love and affection. He takes you for walks, hunting and spoils you with all the perks that a future King deserves. In addition to showing you off before the Court. After all, you are the future King.

They are both very proud of anything you do. Any milestone, no matter how small, will be applauded by them. Your first words, the first time you walked and everything else will be treated with great celebration. Expensive parties are thrown in your honor all the time.

As you grow up, they become even more overprotective and controlling. Anne does not want you to leave the Court under any circumstances and Henry allows you to do so, but only with many guards. There were many threats lurking and they couldn't let anything happen to you. May God forbid anything from happening to you as the results will be disastrous.

Anne hates it when you spend time with other people, especially if they are women. The only women you need in your life are your mother and your older sister, Elizabeth. Although she understands that's a part of a man's life, she still doesn't like it and any potential mistress or love interest will be dealt with quickly. She is your mother, so no one has more right to you than her.

Henry is more than aware of his wife's actions and although he doesn't encourage them, he doesn't reprimand her. In fact, he's probably the one who encourages you to enjoy your life even if it always leads to fights with Anne. It was worth it when you looked happy. And your happiness is very important to him.

Your potential friends will be scrutinized and if your parents don't like them, they will leave. Henry and Anne won't sentence them to death at first, but if you or they are stubborn, they will be tried for treason. Don't you understand that you shouldn't trust anyone other than your own family? Your parents are the only ones who want the best for you.

Henry and Anne are smothering and protective parents but they only have your best interests at heart. They want you to live a full and happy life, but with them by your side. You were everything they both wanted and they would be damned if they let anything happen to you. England still does not know the fury of its monarchs nor the overwhelming love they feel for their only son.

The Favorite.

When Queen Alicent ended her labors, exhausted, delirious and filled with an anticipatory dread sheโ€™d come to know was unavoidable; she heard the maester say, โ€œa healthy princess, my queen.โ€ She had grimaced then as the childโ€™s cries filled the air but the babe was pushed into her limp arms which almost refused her. There, laid upon her breast, was her daughterโ€ฆwith features so like hers. It felt unreal, she had been prepared to bear another princeling with a smattering of fuzzy silver hair to form his crown. To remind her of whom their sire was. But as you laid against her, cooing irritably at the noise in the room and squinting at her with those eyes she knew so well, she fell in love. Weakly, in her milk of the poppy haze, she thought on the moments of her pregnancy where sheโ€™d felt so uncomfortable, so ready for the babe to leave and return her body to her. It could be said that in that moment it was the rush of hormones and the dregs of milk of the poppy still ravaging her system but suddenly, regretted those feelings sorely. No, she should have cherished the time when you were safely tucked away for herself. When you were more hers than youโ€™d ever be again.

She held onto that for years. The ache of separateness sheโ€™d never felt for any one of her children before. The love for her other children had always come so late in comparison. With you, it was so easy.

Until it wasnโ€™t so. You hadnโ€™t yet flowered but youโ€™d grown so fast. The ache intensified, the stirring need to have you back where you belonged, closer to her heart โ€” very nearly killed her every time she saw you. Even so, she would still rather be with you than your siblings. She couldnโ€™t be with you as much as she had when you were but a babe and she could take you anywhere in her arms without scrutiny. She was preoccupied with the needs and antics of your elder siblings who always seemed to be in need of something they could not or otherwise would not give themselves. It was exhausting. The ache was a reprieve in itself from the monumental exhaustion of dealing with your, though beloved to be sure, very high maintenance siblings. It was pleasant. Everything about being a mother was as tender as a wound, it could never be wholly pleasant. But there was something so addictive in it when it was you. She never felt so close to the Mother as when she held you.

In your chambers just after youโ€™ve bathed and dressed in your nightgown, she arrived at the side of your bed to kiss your forehead gently, a gesture reserved for you. โ€œTell me what youโ€™ve learned from your Septa today,โ€ she softly instructed, stroking your hair. It has gotten so long, so soft and so lovely to twirl about her fingers. Itโ€™s a habit she developed. โ€œDid you practice your letters?โ€

You nodded, looking up at her. โ€œYes, she says Iโ€™ve gotten much better.โ€

โ€œGood job,โ€ she praised, a soft smile on her lips. โ€œPerhaps I don't have to read to you nearly as much now.โ€ A lie. She'd read to you until the end of the world, even if you no longer needed her to, so long as she can be near you. Her eyes slipped shut momentarily, a quiet sigh escaping her lips as her hands continued to stroke your hair in a lulling rhythm.

You pouted slightly, in a way she might've reprimanded you for, had you been your elder sister. "But I like you reading to me."

You feel her arms wrap around you, folding you into her embrace, unable to resist. โ€œWould you like me to read now?โ€ she murmurs, kissing the top of your head, breathing in the scent of your freshly washed, still slightly dampened hair.

"Yes, please." So pleasing and charming you were when you said it. Oh, she could hardly get your siblings to simply mutter the words meaninglessly!

"Very well," she said softly, but the warmth in her voice made it more than a simple 'yes', her other children would never know she could offer anything but a resigned, "here" that came with an exasperated sigh. She settled in next to you.

"What shall it be tonight?" She asked, her thumb stroking your cheek, her voice holding a level of patience that could only come from the love she has for you. "The Seven Pointed Star?" You hummed your assent.

She opened the tome, her eyes scanning the words for a moment before she begins.

"The Seven Who Are Oneโ€ฆ" Your mother's voice sung out in a soft lilt, the words soft, the pace measured and gentle. As she speaks you feel yourself relaxing, and falling deeper into her embrace. You could lose yourself with her. Your eyes closed as she read on. Her words fell into a rhythm and her voice carries a soothing tune. You feel drawn inward. The world is just you and your mother.

Alas, sheโ€™d had to leave you after you fell asleep, to check on her other, more tumultuous children. It was a mournful fact that because you were her youngest and regardless of being her most beloved, she was still forced to give less of her time to you. But she returned before you woke and when you opened your eyes, your mother was there sitting beside you in your bed. โ€œGood morning, sweetling.โ€ she said, and she snuggled you in her arms, just holding you. She gazed at you, studying your face. โ€œYou slept for a while, it is already late morning, I wasnโ€™t sure if you would wake.โ€

โ€œGood morning.โ€ You rubbed at your tired eyes. โ€œI slept deeply, I supposeโ€ฆโ€ you muttered.

Alicent knew this. Of course she did, she was watching you for a while. โ€œYou've always slept heavily. Even as a babe, you would fall sound asleep with just a bit of rocking.โ€ A small smile curled at her lips, her voice soft and motherly. โ€œI used to worry that youโ€™d never awaken, when you were a babe. I could never tell the difference between your sleeping and your death.โ€

That earned her a small, dreamy smile from your lips. โ€œYou were fussing over me even then?โ€

Her ensuing laughter was rich, and her eyes crinkling at the edges. โ€œOh, my sweetling, of course I was.โ€ Her tone grew more serious then, and she pressed a kiss to your forehead. โ€œI worried for you every single day.โ€

โ€œYou worry now.โ€

โ€œI know. And I know you think me foolish, but I do.โ€ Her voice held the weight of her heart, the weight of years of anxiety. She strokes your hair, her hands gentle as they run through your locks. โ€œI know you're nearly a woman grown, but I cannot help it. You are my daughter, my youngest. My little one.โ€

โ€œI would not wish to leave your side,โ€ you tried to assure her.

She sighed. โ€œI would be wroth to see you ever leave my side. I cannot stomach it.โ€ She kisses the top of your head. โ€œI donโ€™t know how I will do it if you are wed outside of our house. I feel my heart break just thinking of it.โ€

โ€œMine as well.โ€ It was true, you truly could not imagine being away from your motherโ€™s side. You did not particularly desire either of your silly elder brothers but the idea of marrying them held a certain comfort as it meant youโ€™d get to stay with your mother. You were certain to die if you had to leave her behind.

โ€œThey tell me not to dote upon you, and to prepare you for life. But I can only see you as my child. I suppose I will forever.โ€ She looked at you with a somewhat haunted expression, and her hand moved to cup your cheek.

โ€œI enjoy you doting on me. Your company is a comfort.โ€

"I am glad," she smiled, her fingers threading through your hair. "When I'm not around, I worry that the world will be harsh to you, that it will swallow you whole and break you. I did not haveโ€ฆmy mother with me when I left my home for good. But you have me. You are mine, and I wish to keep you safe."

She bit her lip before continuing. โ€œI would have kept you in my womb until we turned to dust, would that I could. I know it is foolish but I miss it terribly. There we had nothing to fear. I protected you from the outside. You lived in a realm of safety, of comfort. No one could ever touch you there. No one could ever hurt you."

The concept intrigued you. The life you led, of scrutiny and pending obligation, could leave you feeling so exposed, a wound open to the air. โ€œThe world is much too loud now that Iโ€™m in it. I do miss being so close to you.โ€ You obviously couldn't remember, not like she did, but you could imagine. You could imagine yourself curled into her, held by her, never needing anything but that...and the thought was an enticing one.

โ€œI miss it more,โ€ Alicent whispers. Tears welled in her eyes. โ€œI know it is foolish of me, but when I see a woman with a child in her belly, I cannot help but be reminded of you, I cannot help but envy her.โ€ Her voice was sullen, her gazed fixed on you. โ€œI miss those kicks against my womb, and I miss the way you would curl into yourself. I wish I could bring us back.โ€ Revising history is something the queen has gotten quite good at doing, she cannot recallโ€” or at least wonโ€™t admit to, those same feelings of helplessness, lethargy and slight dissociation that had returned with each pregnancy. All of it has been replaced, memories tinged in the feeling of yearning she carries now.

โ€œIt would be just us two,โ€ you whispered, your chest tightening slightly with an unfortunate longing to return to her.

"Forever. That would have been a very good life, my sweetling. A peaceful one." A tear trickled down her cheek, this time, though, she did not even try to wipe it away. You reached out to wipe her tear away, delicately with your thumb and the gesture was so soft, she thinks. Softer than any touch she had ever felt. It overwhelmed her to the point of trembling.

โ€œThank you.โ€ Her voice was slightly raspy. You are truly beautiful to her in the candlelight, and even though you are a girl almost grown, she still sees you as the babe you were when you were first pushed into her arms, so many nights ago. โ€œYou have a very soft touch."

โ€œOf course, I learned from you,โ€ you said easily and Alicent had to look closely at your expression to be certain you arenโ€™t just being jovial at her expense. But she was relieved and vaguely ashamed to find that you are entirely sincere without a hint of irony in all of your being.

She was speechless for a moment. Alicent was no longer gentle, she didnโ€™t think she had that in her anymore. Her whole being felt sharp, ready to bleed. Even with her own children, she was seldom the mother sheโ€™d have imagined herself to be before she was married, especially with Aegon who she so struggled to even want to be gentle with. Sheโ€™d forgotten that all the gentleness she possessed was not lost but had simply been redirected into you. It shamed her, it relieved her.

She decided that it was true, even if later sheโ€™d be deep her self loathing and rebuke the notion. For now, your softness was owed to the kind of mother sheโ€™d been to you. โ€œThat is true.โ€ She laughed softly, feeling the high of your praise overwhelm her wariness. Her hands returned to playing in your hair, wafting the scent of soap and the warm musk of your skin toward her. Oh, that scentโ€ฆWhen she come to visit your chambers just after you left them, sheโ€™d smell your pillows, your sheets, unable to help herself. It always unlocked some beastly sort of satisfaction inside her. She had even saved a little gown of yours from when you were a babe, unwilling to part with the scent of your skin. Back then, sheโ€™d attributed it to you being so young, to the bodily mysteries of a mother still fresh from labor but it had lingered. โ€œYou have such a sweet smell, my girl. I have always loved your scent.โ€

โ€œI know. My handmaid told me you used to smell me a lot when I was a babe.โ€

So her strangeness had not gone unnoticed. โ€œThat I did. The smell of your sweet skinโ€ฆโ€ You could tell she got lost in a memory for a bit, and her face grew nostalgic. โ€œI loved your scent so much. There was nothing like it.โ€

โ€œEvery day, I would smell your skin. I would kiss your cheeks and your little fingersโ€ฆโ€ Her words trailed off as she smiled, remembering. โ€œYou still have the same scent now. I would know it anywhere.โ€

โ€œYou were enamored with me,โ€ you said, grinning as you stretched out in bed like a lazy cat.

She laughed softly. โ€œI really was. You were a beautiful babe, so perfect and delicate in my eyes. I never wanted to let you out of my sight.โ€ She remembered her father admonishing her for refusing to leave you with the maids, her near in tears trying to make him understand that this was different and him simply not willing to understand how the love of a fourth child, a girl, could have driven his daughter so utterly mad.

โ€œI know. Grandsire says you took me everywhere with you.โ€

โ€œThat I did,โ€ she confirmed, sighing softly. โ€œI did not want anyone else to hold you.โ€

โ€œWhy not?โ€ You had yet to truly address the severity of your motherโ€™s preoccupation with you. To you, it was only love. You could not understand its implications or its logic.

โ€œBecause I did not trust anyone else with you.โ€ She whispered. โ€œI could not bear the thought of even leaving you with a maid, not for long anyway. You are my child, and I did not want anyone but me to care for you or see to your needs.โ€

โ€œOh, but it must have been such work!โ€

โ€œAll children are work, a lot of it,โ€ she insisted. โ€œBut you wereโ€” you are a good kind of work. You gave me something to focus on besides all my other obligations. You were my little princess, always with me, and always wanting my attention. It was tiring, but I would not have had it any other way.โ€ You made her feel the kind of love her first chance at motherhood should have brought her. You made her feel like a mother in the way the gods intended.

โ€œThat is very sweet.โ€ It was more than sweet. It warmed your heart to hear from your mother that the work she has put into raising you, into keeping you โ€” she saw it all as worth the trouble.

โ€œItโ€™s the truth. I have never loved anything more than you.โ€

โ€œIโ€™m glad for it. Glad to be deserving of it.โ€

Oh, your sweet little heart! Her hand cupped your face, and her fingers stroked your soft, delicate cheek, her eyes meeting yours. โ€œYou are far greater than deserving. You were perfect when you arrived, and you only became more beautiful as you grew older.โ€

You looked down, slightly bashful. โ€œYouโ€™re beautiful too, mother.โ€

Your words bring on the fiercest of longing. Tears of joy and perhaps bitterness trickled from her eyes. "You are the sweetest daughter a mother could ask for. I love you so very much."

She is near breaking into a fit of sobs, breathing deeply to calm herself, blinking away her tears before she speaks again. "Sometimes I wish I could turn back time, and have those days again. The days where we could be wrapped up in each other, and the world was just us two."

And as your eyes light at the words, she cannot resist anymore. She brings you into her arms, your head resting against her breasts and her leaning down to kiss your head, breathing in your smell yet again. In a few years at latest, sheโ€™d wed you to one of your brothers and keep you safe within her watch. Then everything would be alright, youโ€™d be safe only when there was promise you could stay with her forever.

โ€œNo matter,โ€ she murmured against your hair, trying to soothe herself back into dignity. โ€œMother will protect you even now.โ€

The Daughter

there was unease in palatine that had carried into their chamber.

geta could see it from his chair, multiple scrolls laid out in-front of him on a table, but he could not tear his eyes away from his child. his child who is adamantly avoiding him.

at first, he had just assumed she had gotten in slight trouble with a servant. geta had created a strict set of rules for his child when she was outside of his sight, and his child had created a small habit of breaking them on occasion. perhaps she had wandered away, or she had gotten herself in trouble by clambering up trees once more.

whatever it was, he had assumed it would pass.

they had settled into their chambers, and he had prepared himself for the endless chatter of his child, recounting her day with vivid descriptions. instead, she curled herself into a seat shoved into the corner of the room, and promptly refused to talk.

they had sat there for hours, on opposing sides of the room, never breaking the silence. his child was curled into the cushions, wrapping linen around herself as she stared at the wall, refusing to look at him.

-

the sun sets when he strikes.

striding across the room silently before grabbing an exposed shoulder, quickly turning his child around before she could pull away.

she fights him for the smallest moment before she's bawling, throwing herself into his arms, threatening to throw him off balance as he clutches her back. she shakes in his arm like a linen in the wind, choking on her cries as he tries to soothe her.

but nothing seems to work as she balls up fistfuls of his toga in her hands, choking on her cries as he lifts her from the cushions, carrying her to the bed. she seems to cry harder once she's placed on the linens, twisting in the sheets as she scrambles to leave his arms, face planting into a pillow.

anger snaps in his stomach as he watches his child, blatantly avoiding him as she curls into the pillow, shoulders shaking. she wraps herself in linens, refusing to look at him once more.

geta has half the mind to drag her back by her ankles, to grasp her cheeks and demand her to stop this absurdity. instead, he settles for a glare as he walks back to his chair, lowering his eyes to look at her.

she clamps her eyes down, eyelids flickering as she flips over once more, showing her back to him once more. anger rises once more, clawing at his chest, but, ever the patient man, he sits. turning his attention to the scrolls in-front of him, he tries to tune out the sniffling.

eventually, she stops sniffling, and her shoulders stop shaking.

he creeps across the room, rolling the scrolls back up, lying a gentle hand on her shoulder, waiting for the smallest sign she's awake. it never comes.

he's careful to strip the linens away from her, letting her head roll back onto the pillow, facing the ceiling as she sleeps. his stomach clenches at the sight of her reddened cheeks, lined with the remnants of tears.

he rests a hand on her warm cheeks, lying a hand on the top of her chest as it rises and falls with steady breaths. for a minute, he just sits there, feeling the rise and fall underneath his hands before he's tucking her back into the linens.

-

in the morning, geta awakes before his child.

he watches her sleep, curled into his side, a ball of warmth compared to the chill of their chamber, wrapped in the linens. she's enviously peaceful when she sleeps, unbothered by responsibilities and duties.

she slowly comes to, twisting and turning away from him as she stretches her arms, blearily blinking at him. a small smile is sent his way before he strikes, grabbing her by her shoulders and yanking her back.

she's lying on her back as he throws his arm across her stomach, pinning her to the bed as she rubs sleep away from her eyes. she's painfully tense, eyes darting every which way as she squirms against his hold.

tears start to brim at her waterline before geta leans down, resting his cheek against her shoulder, letting her wrap her arms underneath his.

"father, please don't leave me," his child is sobbing once more, wildly gasping for breath as he holds her tighter, concern growing, "my child, why would i ever leave you?"

his voice is deeper and scratchy from sleep, but it carries nonetheless as his child cries harder, avoiding his gaze.

"there are.. whispers of a concubine with child," a hiccup escapes her, "they say she has birthed a son. a son who will take my place.โ€

geta knows that's the only reason why his child is sobbing uncontrollably. he and caracalla had been swarmed with alleged children after he revealed their daughter, and endless concubines had swarmed palatine, claiming pregnancy with their child.

yet, their claims held no truth.

geta had hidden his daughter for four years. four years where he refused to share his bed, four years where he had refused to allow anyone into his chambers. his time was devoted to his child, and there was no need to tarnish the place where she slept.

geta hadn't laid with a woman since he accidentally impregnated the mother of his daughter. no other woman had seen his chambers, and no woman would ever see them in the future.

"and then, then she told me.. she said that once her son is revealed, you wonโ€™t want me anymore. that they'll be the only ones you love, and that I wonโ€™t matter, and you'll-," another hiccup, "you'll send me away to live by myself by seaside!"

it's silent in the bedchamber as he stares at his child. her eyes have blurred over with tears as she twists in his hold, thrashing her head from side to side as she cries.

his grip goes harsh as he grabs her cheek with a free hand, squishing her cheeks together as he stares at her.

"child," he struggles to keep his cool as she avoids his eyes, glancing to the ceiling, "you really think i'd let you leave? that i'd let a bastard take your place by my side? rome belongs to us, meus puella".

his child sniffles, tears sliding onto his hand as he holds her face in an unforgiving grasp, trying to catch her eyes. when he finally does, his daughter cries harder, her arms tumbling around his neck.

it's an odd position, as he keeps her cheeks in his grasp, not letting her object his say.

"tell me has been telling you these lies," for a minute, he worries his child might shake her head off.

she cries even harder as she shakes her head rapidly, yanking his hand side to side as she shakes, murmuring objections as she twists side to side.

"enough!"

his entire hand seems to span over her face as he forces her head still, stopping her from flailing. his rings dig into her skin as he muffles her sobs into his palm, bringing his other arm up to cradle her head into his chest.

-

eventually, she soothes herself. she's murmuring an apology into his palm as he smooths out her hair, shushing her as tears spring back into her eyes.

"meus puella, just let me know their names, i won't do anything to them, i just want to know where you heard such an ignorant rumor"

for a minute, his child falters, and his fingers twitch in anger before she looks down, "it-it was caracalla's concubine, camillia, she was holding a baby and talking to one of your servants"

her voice is taut with exhaustion, scratchy and raw from her crying, but geta can hear the unease in her voice. a heavy silence hangs between them, anger igniting in his chest.

the thought of a woman, a concubine no less, belittling his child's worth ignites anger within him. how dare sheโ€”how dare any of themโ€”doubt his devotion?

"which servant?" he demands, his voice low and steady, deceivingly calm. โ€œtell me their name.โ€

his child is too smart for her own good, as she catches onto his anger within seconds, widened eyes reflecting fear of his temper. despite this, his daughter knows better than to lie, "it was tuellis, father, but he didn't know better!"

he feels her flinching as he rises from the bed and stalks toward the door. โ€œstay here, meus puella,โ€ he commands, casting one last, soft look at her. but he knows he canโ€™t fight this battle with gentleness, not now. not when his child's peace with him could be shattered at any misstep from a concubine or servant.

โ€œfather, please!โ€ she cries out, her voice trembling as she grips the edge of the linens, listening to his command despite her panic. but, he shakes his head, unwilling to budge.

-

when geta returns to his chambers, three people are dead. he's void of blood this time around, choosing to not dirty his hands with blood as camillia, her son, and tuellis were killed.

he leaves the bodies to the servants, allowing his guards to return to their posts before he's back in his bedchamber, staring at his child. she looks right back at him, worry streaking her face, "father?"

"my beloved," he kneels at the side of the bed, resting a palm on a warm cheek, "even if i had more children, you would always be mine to keep. nothing could take you away from me"

her voice wobbles as she speaks, closing her eyes against the warmth of his palm, "i just want you to be happy father, i didn't mean to worry you with the rumors"

geta sighs, โ€œi am happy, my child,โ€ he murmured, kissing the top of her head, his heart swelling with love. โ€œi am happy because i have you. you are my daughter, my only love. nothing else matters as long as you are content.โ€

his daughter's eyes peek open, slits of blue finding his as she scoots closer, wrapping her hands around his other hand. he's not too sure how long they sit there, letting palatine function outside of their chambers.

but inside these chambers, there is nothing to harm his child. there is nothing to harm him. so, he pulls back from his child before returning back to the linens, letting the familiar weight settle itself into his side.

his hands wander to her hair, letting the soft strands engulf his hand, scratching his nails into her scalp. his child melts into his side, lying in the silence of their bedchamber as the outside world passes.
