Cancer Venus

accuracy varies depending on the house and aspects made to the placement.

• If you’ve ever tried a Lindor truffle chocolate you know they have a hard chocolate shell and the inside is filled with soft melted chocolate. That’s how I would describe venus in cancer. Hard exterior but a very soft inside.

• They’re cautious but so sweet. Their relationships are usually a slow start. Taking their time, melting into each other. Truly blending their best traits to become a home for each other.

• Before entering a relationship, cancer in venus observe the person of interest. They’ll appreciate the smaller details that require true effort and love. For example, bringing grocery store flowers may be a nice gesture but a cancer venus will swoon if you remembered their exact coffee order. A home made gift would also be deeply valued.

• Someone who feels secure and stable is the ideal. Cancer venus are sensitive, therefore someone reckless and distant would upset them deeply in the end. They are dependable, warm and cautious. They won’t take a last minute date reschedule lightly. It will be noted.

• Your partners are likely to be surprised by your memory and attention to the small things. It’s not about the grand gestures with cancer venus people. It’s about the everyday effort they put in to make the relationship feel like a safe place. It’s a dark comedy song but so deeply true for many people. Cancer venus wants safety and security so badly. But rather they can find themselves trying to fill the void in other people’s lives. These people don’t need you cancer venus, they need therapy!!! Together, you bring both of you down in the end.

It can also be the other way around, where cancer venus finds partners “leeching off their codependency”

Rising Sign/Ascendant Observations

I notice people with Saturn in the first house tend to have really incredible glow-ups appearance wise. Unfortunately, these can take as long as until they reach their thirties. Usually, it happens when they hit their early to mid twenties, though.

Speaking of Saturn, Capricorn risings are usually very petite. They either have ectomorph/really small frames or are shorter than average. Obviously, this varies if another planet is in the first house or their is something else powerfully aspecting the ascendant.

Scorpio and Cap risings are usually forced to grow up fast and are prone to experiecing precocious puberty. Especially if the lifetime is extremely karmic. Also applies to Pluto or Saturn first housers.

Aries and Gemini risings also grow up fast, though, I notice they don't experience early changes in their body as much. Despite this, they're usually CSA victims/survivors. For some reason, these people are preyed on by people that are in authority or that they are supposed to be able to trust very often. When it comes to Aries rising, women are victims more often than men for some reason.

The other two points above also usually apply if Lilith in conjucting the Ascendant or in the first house.

Aqua risings are concerningly good at disconnecting themselves from their traumatic experiences. It's almost as if it's had no effect on them at all, sometimes. Usually, instead of needing help with their truama, they end up helping others.

Aries rising women are usually on the taller side and have amazonian frames. They also have really strong jawlines/high cheekbones.

The jawline thing also applies to men, but I notice that theirs tends to soften or go away with age. Aries rising women keep this most if not all of their lives sometimes.

I also notice that Aries rising people are seen as conventionally attractive more than any other rising sign. I always hear about how attractive Libra/Sag risings are, but whilst I was researching for this post, I noticed that a lot of them have at least one conventionally attractive feature or something that draws people to them. It's ironic because some of them have an almost off-putting sex appeal.

People with outer planets as their rising (Jupiter, Uranus, Pluto, Neptune, Saturn) are usually described as having an otherwordly or 'out of this world' beauty. They usually break beauty standards. But people with inner planets (Sun, Moon, Venus, Mars, Mercury) are described as having a more natural/conventional beauty.

Most Aries risings have gone through a 'red hair' phase. Rather they dyed it, wore red wigs or put red highlights in their hair.

People with Cap as their rising or Saturn in first house rarely have thick/curvy lower bodies unless Jupiter, Venus or something else is heavily aspecting the ascendant.

Aqua risings experiment with all sorts of different hair colors through their lives. Especially if they have a naturally lighter hair color to begin with.

Women with the Kitty asteroid on their Ascendant or in first house get unwanted advances very often, especially during their youth.

On the topic of age, if you have Cancer as your rising but have Saturn in your first house then you won't necessarily be the younger partner/more immature. If you have Capricorn as your rising but Moon in your first house you won't necessarily be the older/more mature partner. It could go either way for you.

Okay, so the first time I did it, tumblr ate it! So I had to completely redo it…

Gives nose/forehead kisses:

Lucius. Actually, Narcissa started it but then Lucius liked it so much he picked it up and it became his habit. The general pattern is nose kisses when he’s leaving the house, forehead kisses when he’s leaving the room.

Gets jealous the most:

Narcissa. She’s been that way since she was a child but it’s one of the things that drives her ambition.

Takes care of on sick days:

They both do in different ways. Lucius is more doting (so much so that Cissa ends up kicking him out of the room most of the time because she needs her space.) She checks on Lucius when he’s sick but is usually of the ‘oh, you’ll be fine’ attitude.

Drags the other person out into the water on beach day:

Hahah - this is kinda funny to picture the way I’d originally meant it. But on vacation without any other worries? Narcissa.

Brings the other lunch at work:

Narcissa. A lot of times it’s her excuse to see him in the middle of the day whether they meet somewhere or she brings him a tray wherever he is in the manor. (If she doesn’t have her own plans, that is.)

Tries to start role-playing in bed:

Lucius. …if you’ve been her long enough, you know why. hahaha

Okay, so they don’t celebrate Halloween really BUT - Lucius. Anytime they go to an event/ball/party/etc. they wear matching or coordinated outfits. Lucius brought it up the first time they went to a function as a couple and though it sort of surprised Narcissa at the time, it was always a given ever since. In fact, most days they’re outfits are at least coordinated.

Lucius loves it because it’s his way of telling everyone he’s the lucky bastard that landed Narcissa.

Breaks the expensive gift rule during Christmas:

They don’t even have this rule, but Lucius. Those few Christmases where it was difficult to celebrate anything, he still surprised Narcissa with amazing gifts.

Makes the other eat breakfast:

Narcissa. She makes sure Lucius eats even if it’s just a croissant on the way out.

Remembers anniversaries:

Brings up having kids first:

It was never really discussed. Because they’re marriage was all but arranged, it was discussed for them and made very clear what the expectations were.

Lucius ignores them and suddenly remembers something that takes him away from the bug’s vicinity.

Again, this didn’t really come up because of the way their formal courtship went but Lucius.

Narcissa and it’s one of Lucius’ favorite sounds in the world. He’s happy the rest of the day whenever he manages to make Narcissa laugh that hard.
