Sleepy knight process – This had a lot of detail, so I went very slow, and did the parts I was confident in (the horse and foliage, lol) first to build my confidence. I always get so nervous doing human faces, and this one was so small! Nice sharp pencils helped, though. Tried bringing some purples into the horse's coat for that deep blood bay color. I did a lot of layers of yellow and gold over everything not in shadow at the end for that lazy summer afternoon atmosphere~
