In India, seven days are set aside to commemorate Martyrs' Day, also known as Sarvodaya Day, in memory of those who gave their lives in defence of the country. Shaheed Diwas is observed on January 30 to honour Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi who was killed in 1948 killing by Nathuram Godse. This day honours the heroes who fought in the war of independence to build India's foundation, including the nation's father. Gandhi, who had escaped many assassination attempts, encountered difficulties along the way. The first attempt was made in 1934, and then there were two more in 1944 and 1946. The last attempt was made just ten days prior to his untimely death. Martyrs’ Day is celebrated at Rajghat where the state heads such as the President of India, Vice President, Prime Minister, and other service chiefs visit and pay respect to Mahatma Gandhi. The saying "Religion taught us to return good for evil" is attributed to Mahatma Gandhi. On his Martyrs' Day, let's explore some special aspects related to him through this article.: https://bit.ly/3u5otK8
