Help a Family in need

I am reaching out on behalf of my dear friend, Mohamad S., who is facing one of the most challenging times of his life. Mohamad is 37 years old and left his homeland in 2015 in search of a safer and better future. He’s a kind, hardworking man, and his small family has always been his greatest priority.

Living abroad, Mohamad has recently endured unimaginable loss and financial strain. Amidst the ongoing conflict in his homeland, his mother passed away, leaving behind his sister and her five young children—the last remaining members of his immediate family.

As the situation worsened, Mohamad managed to help his sister and her children escape to safety in Egypt, covering their immediate needs and securing a temporary refuge for them. Since then, he has been fully responsible for providing everything they need to survive during this transition.

In his efforts to support his family and cope with this devastating loss, Mohamad has found himself deeply in debt. To make matters even more difficult, he recently underwent knee surgery, which limits his ability to return to work for the foreseeable future. This has made it even harder for him to manage his financial responsibilities and the pressing need to provide his family with a stable future.

Mohamad is now working to bring his sister and her five children to join him in Belgium, where he hopes they can find stability and opportunity after all they’ve endured. This transition, however, requires significant resources that he is currently unable to meet alone.

For privacy reasons, we are not sharing Mohamad’s full name, as he has chosen to keep his identity discreet. While he initially refused the idea of asking for help, I couldn’t stand by and watch him struggle alone. I insisted on doing this for him because he deserves a chance to overcome these challenges.

Your contribution will help Mohamad repay the debt incurred during this difficult time, cover ongoing living expenses for his family, and assist with the costs involved in bringing them safely to Belgium.

Mohamad has been a good friend of mine for years, and I’ve always admired his resilience and generosity. Any support, no matter the size, will make an incredible difference in helping Mohamad and his family rebuild their lives after these painful experiences.

Thank you for reading his story and considering helping a man who has always done everything he can for his loved ones.

A small Sun comfort drabble <3

“My silly sunflower…where did that smile of yours go?” The Sun asked you as he held your face gingerly in his large, warm hands.

“I don’t know how much more I can take, Sun..” You hiccuped in response. “Everything lately feels so suffocating and, and nothing seems to want to work out the way I want it to.” You said, needing to pause every now and then to let out a sniff or a sob. “It just feels like the universe is punishing me! And, and I don’t know why, Sun. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong!” You wailed and buried your face in his chest, unable to keep yourself steady anymore.

Sun felt his mechanical heart break. His sweet sunshine, his wonderful little doll. Breaking at the seams and unraveling before his eyes…

He cooed at you, wrapping his arms around your back and rubbing circles in between your shoulder blades.

“My poor little light, it hurts me to see you like this,” He pulled away from you enough to free your head, and lifted your chin with a finger. Your teary eyes found his, soft with fondness for you. “What can I do for you, my love? What can I do to make everything just a little better?”

Oh he makes you want to cry more. He could see it in your eyes. The way they glossed over with more tears at his words. You and him loved each other so much.

“H-hold me, please. Love me, talk to me, stay here with me, please..” You replied quietly, just barely above a whisper. Sun smiled at you, before wiping away your salty tears and pressing a kiss to your forehead.

“Anything for you, Sunshine.”

The Sun-bot of my lil Mafioso AU, Aubade~

As an Underboss, Aubade is known as your "Rabid Dog".

Wild, Sadistic, Impatient, Resilient, and Playful. He owns, runs, and even stars in his own Underground Fighting Arena, in which the money won from the bets placed on fighters fund the gang's supplies and gear. On occasion, it even acts as a place to "test" some of these items. As your left-hand man, Aubade is incredibly savvy to hand-to-hand combat, and will do anything and everything for you. A rather open secret amongst fellow gang members. Only the most foolish would dare question his loyalty. He is easily jealous and hates to have any of your attention stolen from him to a point that during meetings, sitting close or being on his knee is the only way to satisfy him. Though, that does not stop him from having a hand on you somewhere... somehow never cutting you with those talons.

But basically we came up with a new AU that I've been calling "Unphotogenic" for simplistic obvious reasons in which it diverts from our og au and it involves Tari working as a photographer (used more as a backpack carrying assistant) for a studio affiliated with fazcorp and situated in the pizzaplex to take care of every picture to take for birthdays and events, discouraging ppl to use their own cameras, phones, flashes, or hire other groups of photographers unfamiliar with safety rules and obstructing passage to important vacating areas for staff.

In this au the boys didn't get their upgrade either, the best they got is a fix to their face's internal mechanisms to be able to move eyebrows, close eyelids and slightly move the corners of their mouths , but that's about it.

I tried, truly, to go with the full biblically accurate look but I, as a person, am so unserious I had to grant them at least the bare minimum of expression or I was going to giggle my checks off every serious scene.

Also... I want to curse you with the knowledge that the age I went by is approximately canonical to the time they've been built and activated first.

They're OLD OLD lmao

Look I get it. Your blog is your little scrapbook and you totally choose what you reblog and what you don't. It's easier to feel like you're saving posts and supporting with more convenience by hitting that little heart button but guys.

It's like signing up for an interactive program given by a person who wants so bad to impart and be asked questions and show you their studies. And you sign up and put your name on the roster and you raise your hand for the headcount, and then you walk in, glance around the room, make eye contact with the presenter, and then walk out

And im not saying likes do nothing! I'm not saying they're not appreciated!! But when you make something that's meant to be experienced and interacted with and you put it out there for people to pass around and enjoy, and all you get in your notifs are handfuls of people just passing by and only sparing you the little hit of a convenient little button without further thought, it kinda gets discouraging!

I might delete this later because, cmon, I know what I am. I'm a silly little guy with rsd and audhd and medicated anxiety who makes mediocre sketches and averagely skilled doodles. I'm not gonna parade around like I have any right to tell anyone how to interact with the internet, but I am pleading, with the heart of a creator—a creative, who really just needs the little stamp of approval that is a reblog to keep going
