It was a Friday night and your boyfriend Duff had a gig with his band and he was taking an absurd amount of time in the bathroom to get ready. “DUFFF WHAT ARE YOU DOINGGG” you said banging on the bathroom door. He’d been in there for forever and you needed to get ready for the gig too you needed to do your make up and do your hair. “One minute babe” Duff yelled back. “Can I just come in and get ready it’s not like I haven’t seen you naked before Duff” you said laughing. Duff didn’t reply. Finally after 5 more minutes of him still being in the bathroom you went in he didn’t lock the door so you just went it “ok Duff you’ve had more then a minute” you said entering the bathroom only to see Duff standing there with smeared eye liner on and messy hair that he had definitely tried to tease up. You were taken aback “Duff were you trying to do glam make up” you said laughing a little. Duff blushed. “Maybe I thought it would look cool but I actually suck at it” Duff said. “Is that my eye liner?” You asked. “Yeah sorry I might’ve ruined it” Duff said embarrassed. “It’s fine baby you can borrow my stuff buttt you should let me do your makeup it might be funnnn” you said giving Duff puppy eyes. Duff grinned and sighed “alright go for it y/n” Duff said “Yay!” You said jumping up and down and running to grab your eye shadow palates.

You made Duff sit on the toilet and got out some purple eye shadow. “Close your eyes Duff” you said Duff did and you started brushing the eye shadow on his eye lid. Duff smiled and pulled back “Duff sit still” you said laughing. “Sorry it tickled” Duff said. You smiled and continued to apply the make up. “Don’t make me look like an idiot please y/n” Duff said. “I won’t I won’t you’ll look like a total fuckin rockstar when I’m done” you said. “Sure” Duff said chuckling as you now pulled out the eye liner and started to line his eyes with them. Once you finished it you decided he needed a little bit of mascara too just to make his eyes pop. “Ok Duff” you said pulling him off the toilet and having him walk over to the mirror to see the make up. “Do you like it?” You asked. Duff laughed “Well I do look pretty glam rock and a little like a chick but you did good babe thank you.” Duff said hugging you and kissed th top of your head. “You’re welcome baby it was fun” you said. “Ok you can get ready now” Duff said leaving the bathroom.

Once you were ready you and Duff were ready to leave “damn sexy” Duff said as he saw you walking out of the bathroom. You blushed. “Babe I forgot something on your makeup” you said giggling. “Yeah what?” Duff asked. “You need lip stick.” You said giggling. Duff rolled his eyes. “If you say so” Duff said. You pulled out your lipstick. “Ok stick your lips out like your kissing me” you told Duff. He did what you said and you laughed he looked so funny you applied the lip stick to him and he looked great “ ok now are we ready to go?” Duff asked “yes” you said grabbing his hand and he lead you out of your apartment. It was going to be a fun night with your glam rocker boyfriend

You were shy quiet and very nerdy at least that’s what most people thought. But Duff knew the real you and he loved you. You met Duff in 7th grade and soon became best friends. Duff showed you how to have fun and not be so stressed. You and Duff started dating senior year when you were both 18. You were on track to graduate with honors and go to a good college. But one day Duff told you he’s leaving and going to LA to follow his dream of being a rockstar. You don’t know why or how but you decided to come with him you were in love and nothing mattered but him. You both dropped out of school and ran away together. Everyone who knew you was shocked but you didn’t care what they thought. You and Duff had lived in LA for 3 years now. Duff hadn’t had his big break yet but you were able to find a job to support you guys for the time being. You felt insecure though you saw these LA girls they were flashy and punk and beautiful you weren’t quite that confident to dress like that. But now Duff was in a new band they called themselves “Guns N’Roses” Duff told you this was the band that would get big and you believed him. You had met all the guys and seen them rehearse they were really something else you knew they would go far and tonight would be their first gig together. “I gotta head to sound check babe” Duff said kissing you on the top of your head and running out the door. “Ok see you at 8” you yelled as he was leaving. It was 6 right now that gave you 2 hours to get ready. Tonight you wouldn’t be so nervous about what people thought tonight you planned to go all out full glam if you were gonna be Duffs rockstar girlfriend you wanted to look the part. You went to the bathroom you put on a new outfit you had bought it was a short black skirt a tight leather black tank top and a black leather jacket to wear on top of it. You usually wore minimal makeup but today you but on eyeshadow, eye liner, and mascara. You decided to just curl your hair for tonight. When you looked in the mirror you hardly recognized yourself. You looked like the girls you saw at the bars around LA you looked hot you felt hot you couldn’t wait to show Duff and have him show you off to the guys.

You knocked on the door at the back entrance of the bar there was a sign that read BAND IN SESSION DO NOT ENTER you ignored the sign though that’s what Duff told you to do anyway. Slash answered the door. “Hey your not su-damn” “y/n you look different like damn” Slash said looking you up and down. “Thank you Slash” you said smirking. You saw Duff come up and stand behind him Duff cleared his throat as a sign to tell Slash to go away and stop checking you out. “Oh right yeah uh Duff your girlfriends here” Slash said and then walking away to leave you two alone. Duffs eyes got wide when he saw you. “Y/n- I’ve never seen you dress like this” Duff said checking you out and smirking every so often. “You like it?” You asked looking up at him. “Like it sweetheart I love it.” Duff said. You blushed. “You didn’t have to get all dressed up for me though you know” Duff said. You pulled out a cigarette. Axl now walked past you two. “Y/n you smoke?” He asked. “Yeah maybe I do” you said inhaling the smoke but doing it wrong because you really needed to cough and it felt disgusting. Axl just smiled and kept walking. “Since when?” Duff said trying to reach the cigarette out of your hand but you pulled it away. “Since now babe” you said to him. “Ok sure” he said a little annoyed. It was now almost time for the boys to go on stage. You were sitting on Duffs lap. “Alright babe I gotta go out there” Duff said. “Knock em dead baby” you said “kiss for good luck?” Duff asked. You kissed him and the pulled away but Duff whispered. “You should dress like this more often doll” you smirked. He grabbed the box of cigarettes out of your jacket pocket. “No more of these though” he said. “Good I don’t like them anyway” you said laughing. Duff smiled and went to get on stage. Your mission tonight had been a success

“No way Slash I am not going on some date with some random ass chick that your girlfriend is best friends with” Axl spat. It wasn’t like Axl rose to turn down a date with a girl but he didn’t like the idea of Slash and his new girlfriend trying to set him up on one he preferred to find chicks at parties or backstage or at bars. “Axl come on man she’s super sweet and funny (y/bff/n) thinks you two will really like each other” “Yeah well I really don’t give a shit man the idea of a blind date is stupid high school type bull shit ok man” Axl said glaring at Slash. Slash rolled his eyes at Axl he knew Axl could be dramatic but he didn’t expect him to protest this much. “Give her a chance ax she’s a real sweetheart and I want to make (y/bff/n) happy so just can you do this for me man” Axl stood there silently protesting. “Look man if you don’t like her I’ll take you to the whiskey a go-go tomorrow and all the drinks will be on me, but at least just come tonight.” Slash pleaded. Axl waited a few seconds and then sighed “ Fine Slash but you better be prepared because I’m buying all the most expensive drinks on the menu tomorrow” Axl said smirking and turning down the hall to get dressed for the date.

“Come on y/n he’s exactly your type I promise you’ll like him” your bff said trying to convince into coming on a double date with her boyfriend and his band mate. “No, y/bff/n I don’t want to go I know he’ll just be another ass hole with a huge ego like every other guy here in LA” you said crossing your arms and flopping on the couch. It was a Saturday night and all you wanted to do was lay around and watch tv you had enough of boys and people for the week but your best friend was set on the idea that you needed to go on this stupid date with some guy her boyfriend was friends with. “No y/n he’s super fun and he’s a great singer and you’ll really like him I promise” your bff said attempting to get you off the couch. You knew of Axl you hadn’t met him but you had see his music video for Welcome to the Jungle pop up on the MTV and you had to admit he was a very attractive man and talented and sure a date with him would be fun but there’s just no way this new rocker guy would like you so what was the point in going. “There’s no way he’s going to like me why should I go?” You said questioning your best friend. “You don’t know that y/n just give him a chance ok, besides if you never try a date with him how do you know he won’t like you.” Your best friend said crossing her arms and looking down on you. Shit you thought she made a good point. “Fineeeee” you said getting off the couch reluctantly. “Yay!! Let’s go get ready come on y/n it’ll be so fun I promise” your best friend said

You guys got to the Rainbow which was where the date was planned at around 8 and shortly after Slash showed up on time but there was no sign of Axl. “ Slash babe where the hell is he I thought you guys were coming together?”your best friend asked Slash. “He was taking to long to get ready he told me he’d catch a cab and be here just a few mins after me he’ll come though I promise” Slash said. Yeah right you thought great you got stood up and now you had to spend the whole night just watching your bff and her boyfriend make out how fun you thought. It was now 8:30 and your really thought there’s no way this man would show up but the door swung open around 8:33 and sure enough there he was. Shit you thought he was handsome actually I don’t know if you could call him that he was honestly beautiful his long strawberry blond hair fell perfectly on him he was wearing a white t shirt with a red blazer jacket over it and he’s green eyes somehow immediately pierced you.

Axls POV:

I was late like really late for a date I felt sorta bad but I’ve never been known for being on time so it was not really new to me. Where the fuck is Slash I thought scanning the crowd then I saw her she was wearing a tight black dress had the most beautiful loosely curled hair and her eyes somehow immediately met mine. She was also sitting by slash and his girlfriend so that better be the girl I’m supposed to be meeting.

Axl walked up to your table and sat right by you “Bout time you showed up ass hole” Slash said to Axl. “Just be happy I came ok man” Axl said smirking at slash. You giggled Axl was quick was his words that was something you learned very fast. “So what’s it like being a big shot rockstar” you choked out you were so nervous and didn’t know what to say. “It’s weird” Axl said looking down at the table “ I love it though I love making music and it’s always been a big part of who i am” Axl said looking up to smile at you. You blushed at his smile. You and Axl continued to talk and there was something abt him he wasn’t just some hot headed rockstar he was made out to be there was more to him he was sensitive and a great conversationalist.

Axls POV:

I’ve met a lot of chicks but never one like Y/n something was different about her she made me feel important I could tell she was really listening to me and she was so easy to talk and it also helped she was remarkably beautiful.

Slash and your bff stood up “um we’re gonna need to use the bathroom we’ll be back” you knew something was going on based on the bulge in slashes pants but you were to focused on Axl to really care. “Ok, Use protection buddy” Axl yelled as they were leaving the table. Slash flipped him off as they walked away and Axl laughed, then he stared at you, you looked right at him and blushed as he tucked a piece of hair behind your ear and whispered . “Wanna step outside?” Axl asked. “Sure” you said as Axl grabbed your hand and lead you outside. You stood there on the side walk out side and watched people go by for a few mins before Axl said something that caught you off guard. “ Shit i don’t know how to say this I really don’t” oh no you thought he hates me I should have seen this coming. “But I really like you like actually like you y/n and I want to try this but i can be messed up sometimes and I can lose my shit but something abt you is different y/n you make me feel loved and safe and I want to be with you” Axl said. You couldn’t believe your ears Axl rose liked you it didn’t seem real. “Axl I want to be with you too” you said… and with that Axl kissed you.
