Imagine like a New Age organ-harvesting ring – the whole wake-up-in-a-bathtub-full-of-ice bit, except whatever they’re “stealing” is completely intangible. Victims all like “I thought they were going to sell me a dresser, but instead they knocked me out and crunged my aura, and now I can’t see the colour mauve”.
i just want to one day be loved like elle woods’ sorority sisters loved her
This guy at my office is talking about how some ~20 unionized workers that operate bridges shut down a huge chunk of the city by lifting the bridges then leaving on a boat until their demands were met and I forgot I was supposed to say "oh that's fucked up" because I was immediately like sick that's dope as hell lmao
Think about how much power labor has. These guys working in big positions talking about the kind of damage some "high school dropouts who ganged up" can do with an edge of fear in their voice
Like sorry you got punked out by these guys you think are below you bitchboy you dont sound very in charge lmao
Reblog if you like any of these modern cartoon network shows
The Bridgewater Triangle is an infamous area in Massachusetts that is known for its odd paranormal activity. The Triangle is about 200 square miles of swampland and forest. The area is well known for its UFO sightings, Bigfoot encounters, and poltergeist phenomena. Even stranger sightings have occurred like one that took place in 1980. It was then that police sergeant Thomas Downey had witnessed a winged creature that was at least 6 feet tall. Due to the incredibly strange paranormal happenings in such a condensed area, it is sometimes known as America’s Bermuda Triangle. This is despite the fact that other spots in America are known to have strange areas just like this one - such as Vermont’s Bennington Triangle.
If you could change one minor (MINOR) thing about Dungeon Meshi, what would it be?
Personally I would make Laios’s succubus look like Kabru instead of Marcille.
The Kaua’i Cave Wolf Spider, also known as the blind spider, is an endangered species native to the Hawaiian island of Kaua’i. It’s scientific name is ‘Adelocosa anops’, and it is the only known species in the genus Adelocosa, making them incredibly unique. They have only been found in a few caves in Kaua’i, and only six populations have been found. They are eyeless and completely harmless to humans.
call me ignorant but i genuinely don’t understand why sports have to be split up by gender.
Also called wind towers and wind scoops, windcatchers have been used in North Africa and the Middle East for thousands of years to provide natural ventilation & passive cooling. They fell out of popularity after the introduction of HVAC systems, but are now experiencing a revival because they’re so practical and cost-effective. Here’s how they work:
Not only are they an engineering masterpiece–they’re gorgeous
Windcatchers rely on local weather instead of the electric grid, making them affordable, reliable, and eco-friendly. they’re a terrific example of how vernacular and traditional architecture is often more suited to its environment–and more livable–than modern polite architecture.
