Y’all will advocate for minors until they speak up about sexualization of minors in fandoms, especially the ones that cater to their own age group/demographic (example, MY Little Pony or any Disney movie). Y’all will say minors should be respected and their voices heard until they express their discomfort with how adults in these fandoms act. It’s “kids need to be protected” until those kids don’t agree with what adults are doing to them, and then suddenly it’s “ugh I hate minors! Fuck these puritans! Stupid kink-shaming vanillas!”.

Dear St@rco fans,

Stop taking media that is explicitly about same gender couples and applying them to your ship. I.e. Don’t make “In A Heartbeat” AUs for St@rco. Don’t make St@rco music videos to Studio Killers’ song “Jenny”. By using these things in your AUs for a het ship you are completely missing the point of them. They are specifically about LGBT+ people dealing with LGBT+ issues. In A Heartbeat is a short film about a young boy in love with another boy and his fear of being outed to his peers. Jenny is about a woman in love with her best female friend, and is also afraid to confess and out herself.

So unless you’re using Trans Girl Marco when you put St@rco into this AU, don’t do it at all.

I get it lol. The first arc of bleach had completely different vibes and I miss all the side character classmates 😭

I remember reading once before his editor intervened, Kubo originally planned to due more substitute shinigami stories with Ichigo’s classmates

Sadly, his editor wanted him to hurry up and get to the Soul Society arc but I honestly wished Kubo was allowed to follow through with his original vision

It would’ve made this scene even more impactful

White people literally have no idea as to what its like to be completely exiled from anime fandoms/anime in general do to racist interpretations of black people in anime and other media. 

There is literally no such thing as “black-washing” or “poc washing” as black-japanese, blasians exist, poc with the ethnicity of japanese and or other mixed people exist and they are still asian.

Do not take my white-washing of the melanated characters of the twisted wonderland characters to hold a pity party for yourself because “black people/poc are doing this to my characters :(”.
