The idea of her unstringing the bow in the first place is such a beautiful idea. I always imagined it as already being unstrung and maybe left somewhere since it was out of use. This adds so much more power to "The Challenge" because we see just how little respect she has for the suitors. She doesn't just ask them to do something for her.
