The first scene with Stone in Sonic 4 should just be him starting his day, showering, getting dressed, making...coffee, yada yada but he's doing all of this with a very forced, I'm-on-the-brink-of-a-mental-breakdown, smile. To top it off (and to twist the knife deeper), all of this is happening while Mr. Sandman is playing in the background.

Can you IMAGINE what Robotnik's subscribers thought about his relationship with Stone. Just think. Whenever Robotnik is livestreaming, Stone is there. Just hanging around in the background, crocheting, making them lunch, bringing home groceries, and you KNOW the chat was losing their minds trying to figure out who this hot, friendly guy is, and whenever they bring it up Robotnik dismisses them, saying vague things like "oh Stone? He's just my henchman, don't worry about him" but the chat didn't accept that of course because it's SO OBVIOUS they're down bad for each other, the shipping must have been INSANE
