ok so this is my first post about my indigenous roots, because I’m a bit self conscious about how distant they are. My family doesn’t do anything at all to honor the culture, and my younger siblings and cousins probably don’t even know about it. Older family members don’t even acknowledge it most of the time. The only clue that we even are native is that my grandma has an old baby moccasin of hers on display.
