20-25 million people from nations all over the world died fighting against the Nazis. The US didnt even show up for years after it started. They sat and watched everyone else fight and die.

REPORTER: Right, and who gave us the actual beacon? The French. And let’s not forget, France won World War I before the U.S. even entered it. So by your logic, does that mean Americans should be thanking the French for not speaking German in 1918?

LEAVITT: That’s not what I’m saying. I’m saying—

REPORTER: Also, if we’re going down this road—how about the Louisiana Purchase? You know, that huge chunk of land that doubled the size of America? Bought it from the French. Are we sending them a thank-you note?

LEAVITT: Look, I think we’re getting off track here. The point is—

REPORTER: The point is, we didn’t just swoop in and save the day while France sat around waiting. Nations cooperate, trade, and yes, sometimes even rescue each other.

La realtà è questa. La realtà è ciò che il governo della matrigna bugiarda e fascista sta nascondendo, mentre racconta al Paese che tutto va bene, che loro stanno facendo la storia e stronzate simili.

France - Bretagne 🇫🇷

My Turkish friends are sending me sings from their protest walks, asking me to share them since the global news don't do them justice. They translated some of them:

1. "No men ever got me as wet as the TOMA (Riot Control Vehicle"

2. "If you water us a bit more, we will bloom. 💋💋"

3. "Mum, I lied, I'm at the protests"

4. "We'll pass both the midterms and the barricades"

5. "How could there be an "authorised protest", girlie!"

6. "The government that interferes with my walk, what's your zodiac sign!?"

7. "Sweetie, how can you spend your life with just one man?"

Of course, this is just the cheerful side of the story. On the other hand, the Turkish police are using uncontrolled force on the people during the protests while claiming they were attacked. I also saw a video in which the GD of Police in Istanbul was angrily questioning some of the police officers during the riots. He was asking who gave the order to fire at the protestors, and the officers replied, "we moved without an order." I'll tag the source when I find it again.

Italia: Una Nazione Stanca, Tradita e Abbandonata

L’Italia è una nazione stanca, tradita, abbandonata. Ogni giorno che passa il peso della sopravvivenza si fa più insopportabile per milioni di persone. Non si parla più di vivere, ma di resistere: alle bollette, agli affitti, alla disoccupazione, alla burocrazia cieca, all’indifferenza totale di chi dovrebbe proteggerci.

Il governo celebra se stesso tra bandiere e slogan, come se fosse in campagna elettorale perenne. Ma la realtà è un Paese in declino, dove chi lavora non riesce a vivere, e chi non lavora viene umiliato. Le promesse sono carta straccia, i provvedimenti servono solo ai soliti noti: banche, multinazionali, amici degli amici, palazzinari, venditori di fumo.

Ogni servizio pubblico viene spolpato: la scuola pubblica cade a pezzi, la sanità è diventata un privilegio per chi può pagare, la giustizia lenta e spesso manipolata. I fondi pubblici finiscono in consulenze, armi, sprechi, progetti inutili. Nessuna visione per il futuro, nessun investimento vero sul lavoro, sulla ricerca, sull’ambiente, sulla dignità.

Chi denuncia viene etichettato come “anti-italiano”, chi protesta viene insultato, chi chiede giustizia viene ignorato. Intanto i diritti si restringono, la libertà si svuota, e ogni giorno un nuovo decreto ci toglie un pezzo di cittadinanza.

Siamo diventati il Paese dove tutto è colpa dei poveri, degli stranieri, dei fragili. Un Paese che si rifugia nell’odio per non guardarsi allo specchio. Ma lo specchio non mente: quello che vediamo è un sistema marcio, governato da chi vive nell’impunità e nel privilegio, mentre milioni affondano nel silenzio.

Ci hanno tolto la speranza, e senza speranza nessuna democrazia può sopravvivere. Ma prima che sia troppo tardi, dobbiamo trovare la forza di rialzarci. Perché un popolo senza voce è un popolo destinato a essere comandato da chi non lo ama.
