Can't express how stress free being open minded is.
Some lesbians use he/him? Oh cool.
Some people have people inside their head and sometimes it's fictional chars? Sick your brains like a pirate ship they're all working to run.
Some people like being treated like a pet dog? Bark bark bro.
Being fat isn't unhealthy but a perfectly normal type of body to have? Kinda beautiful how different we can all be.
Something doesn't make any fucking sense? Cool an opportunity to learn. And even if I can't figure it out it's cool we still have mysteries today.
may i ask about your art process?
Of course!! Although I’m not the best when it comes to documenting the process of my personal work, I can try explaining it. I also included my process for my linocuts, in case anyone was wondering.
My digital illustrations usually start with mindless doodles, unless I want to draw something very specific. I don’t worry about doodles looking perfect or the anatomy being on point, I just draw whatever I want and whatever comes to my mind at that point. I feel that with such an attitude while drawing you can accidentally come up with something interesting and just have fun.
I also don’t know if it is a bad habit or not but I usually doodle on one canvas for weeks and if I turn on all of the layers, my canvases tend to look something like this
(while preparing this ask I actually found so many unfinished doodles which I now want to finish…)
For example, my latest kanaya illustration started from this doodle. I didn’t have any particular idea for it in mind and I just wanted to experiment with it. When working on it, I just decided to go for something simple, perhaps with negative space composition and a colour accent. And after deciding what I wanted to do with the doodle it’s just drawing until I like how it looks and think it’s finished.
I, unfortunately, don’t have that many process photos as I feel like my process is quite basic, similar to traditional illustration process+I like to draw on one layer or merge all layers together, but I have this picture I took for my friend while drawing. I was trying to figure out how to position the hand.
With my linocuts, the process is a bit more straightforward with not so much experimentation involved. I start with an idea in mind, for example, for my latest linocut I really wanted to do something with erisol, possibly something small in terms of size, A6 or A5, and with two colours. I then begin working on the sketch, usually I make a digital sketch but for this one I first made a traditional sketch and then refined it digitally.
I then print my digital sketch, transfer it onto the lino block, carve and print!Â
Aaand that’s it. Hope you enjoyed!! As a bonus, have this yellow pikmin doodle I found in one of my canvases. I think it’s very silly.
Actually new content wow (still working on uploading all my old stuff here)
