ES|| Más ilustraciones del Calendario Montessori 2023, el cual, como ya sabréis, está enfocado en distintas maneras de cuidar el planeta. Una de las cosas más importantes para mejorar el medio ambiente es reducir el consumo de plásticos y hay infinidad de maneras de hacerlo, por ejemplo, buscar juguetes de otros materiales. La verdad es que siempre me sorprende la gran variedad de alternativas que hay a los típicos juegos de plástico. A mí, personalmente, me encantan los juguetes de madera con formas orgánicas e inspiradas en la naturaleza (sobre todo si son de madera recogida de forma sostenible y de proximidad)! 🌱

EN|| More illustrations from the 2023 Montessori Calendar, which, as you already know, is focused on different ways to take care of the planet. One of the most important things to improve the environment is to reduce plastic consumption and there are countless ways to do this, for example, looking for toys made of other materials. The truth is I’m amazed by the wide variety of alternatives there are to typical plastic toys. I personally love wooden toys with organic shapes inspired by nature (especially if they are made locally and from sustainable wood)!🌱

Va tenir somnis preciosos on viatjava a terres llunyanes, coneixia animals salvatgement suaus i tothom reciclava molt! La cultura és un generador de somnis on tot és pot fer realitat! ESP || Mi leyenda de Sant Jordi es la de la dragona Jordina que leyó tantos libros que se quedó dormida en un campo de rosales! Tuvo sueños preciosos donde viajaba a tierras lejanas, conocía animales salvajemente suaves y todo el mundo reciclaba mucho! La cultura es un generador de sueños donde todo se puede hacer realidad! Culturizemonos, la cultura nos hará fuertes como una dragona! Feliz Sant Jordi/dia del libro a todas y todos!!📚🐉🌷

ENG || In Catalonia on April 23th we celebrate Sant Jordi, a day of roses and books! My legend of Sant Jordi is that of the dragon Jordina who read so many books that she fell asleep in a field of roses! She had beautiful dreams where she traveled to distant lands, she knew wildly soft animals and everyone recycled a lot! Culture is a generator of dreams where everything can come true! Culture will make us strong like a dragon! Happy Sant Jordi/ Day of the book to all! 📚🐉🌷

EN|| I’m so excited to share another one of the pieces that will be in @gallerynucleus Power In Numbers 7 collective exhibition alongside a ton of amazing artists! This time is a little snail loving her life surrounded by bees and pomegranades! In this close up you can see next to the illustration the color tests I did while I was painting. 🐌♥️ All the postcards are 5”x7” and made using gouache, watercolor, neocolors, polychromos and watercolor pencils. The show will debut in person only and is cash and carry, meaning once a piece is purchased the buyer takes it home with them rather than be on display the duration of the entire show. The earlier people come, the more they can see! Opening reception is September 3rd 5:00PM - 8:00PM in Alhambra, CA. You can find more information about the event in the gallery’s web. ES|| ¡Estoy súper emocionada de compartir otra de las piezas que estarán en la exposición colectiva “Power In Numbers 7” en @gallerynucleus junto a un montón de artistas más! ¡Esta vez se trata de un pequeño caracol que ama su vida rodeado de abejas y granadas! En este primer plano podéis ver junto a la ilustración las pruebas de color que hice mientras pintaba. 🐌♥️ Todas las postales hacen 5”x7” (12.7 x 17.78 cm) y están realizadas con gouache, acuarela, neocolores, polychromos y lápices acuarelables. El espectáculo debutará solo en persona y es “cash and carry”, lo que significa que una vez que alguien compra una pieza, el comprador se la lleva a casa en lugar de estar en la exhibición toda su duración. ¡Cuanto antes vayáis, más piezas podréis ver! ESP || Segundo experimento de texturas y materiales. Esta oruguilla no me gusta tanto como la ranita, quizás las hojas en acuarelas aguadas me molestan al lado de la oruga ya que esta no destaca tanto, quizás me he pasado mezclando colores o simplemente no estoy acostumbrada a utilizar tantos colores oscuros aunque también podría ser que me lo mire con malos ojos, con esas gafas del perfeccionismo puestas... A vosotros que os parece?

ENG || Second experiment of textures and materials. I don't like this caterpillar as much as the little frog, perhaps the leaves with so much watercolor textures bother me next to the caterpillar since it doesn’t stand out as much as I’d like to, perhaps I’ve mixed to many colors or I’m simply not used to paint with so many dark colors although it could also be that I look at it with bad eyes, with those glasses of perfectionism on... What do you think?

EN|| I hope I'm not being too boring with all this postcard thing but I'd love it if all of you who are in the area, could go to @gallerynucleus on September 3rd and see all my postcards live and why not, buy some of them. It really is a shame it’s so far from my country because I’d personally love to go, be there and see all my postcards and those of all the wonderful selected artists! Today I bring you the entire marine life postcard, with the color tests I’ve been doing during the process next to the postcard. I love seeing the colors I've been testing around the final piece! What do you think? Keep in mind that the postcard is only the painted area since I later cut them to 5”x7”, it’s a unique and original piece (and my favorite one). ES|| Espero no estar muy pesadita con esto de las postales pero me encantaría que, todos los que podáis, fuerais el 3 de septiembre a @gallerynucleus y las vierais en directo y porque no, me comprarais alguna de ellas. Realmente es una pena que sea tan lejos de mi país porque personalmente me encantaría ir y ver todas mis postales y las de todos los demás artistas maravillosos seleccionados! Hoy os traigo la postal de la vida marina entera, con las pruebas de color que he ido haciendo al lado de la postal durante el proceso. Me encanta ver los colores que he ido probando alrededor de la pieza final! Y a vosotros? Pensad que la postal solo es la parte pintada ya que posteriormente las recorté a 5”x7”, además es una pieza única y original (Y mi preferida).
