call me a misandrist. i don't care. i used to give the libfem ''patriarchy hurts men too'' spiel and how that somehow excuses them for their social ineptitude. but i'm done. men absolutely brought this onto themselves. every conversation about it is just men soiling their pants over the unfairness over it all and not-so subtly implying that it's yet another issue for women to fix. because hell forbid men get a grip on the concept of self-critique and personal growth without women's emotional labour to guide them.

a factor in men's loneliness is their refusal to actually form meaningful connections with anyone, including each other. wail ''nobody cares about men'' until you're blue in the face, but truthfully, men don't even care about men.

a man will dismiss women's friendships with each other as petty, fake and silly but in the same breath he'll admit that he doesn't even know his bros. not their favourite colours, political views or worst fears. not even their surnames or birthdays. men even seem to take pride in this, like it's some quirky and hilarious male trait that women couldn't possibly understand.

if there's no meaningful discussion, no confiding and comforting and if you don't even know each other, you don't have a friendship, you have an acquaintance. and a circle of acquaintances around you is never going to fill your emotional cup.

so men, if you're lonely, make friends with each other. compliment each other. or don't, remain lonely for all i care. just leave women out of the mess you created and refuse to clean up.

'non binary' people are usually just gnc, or a mix of female and male stereotypes. you think you arent a female or male because you dont like conforming to the stereotypes of your (actual) gender, so yeah, you base your gender on stereotypes.

There isn't any way we can start socialism without the influence of capitalism when we exist in capitalism. There isn't any way that one can exist than with the influence of the existent reality.

However, based solely? That's just stupid.

Gender is all around us. I can't exist and presume that I have not been influenced by gender. However, by no means is the gender norm definitive of my or others' identity (unless they choose it so).

Binary trans is one way to exist, and non binary is the opposite. to be "based soley on gender stereotypes" would be to assume that all binary trans people are acting like the gender because the stereotype says so, but that's often not the case. Binary trans people are often using gender norms as guidelines because passing and fitting in is part of the desire of being trans - mostly for other people to respect and treat them with dignity, not because they are basing themselves off stereotypes.

My move for feminism is saying “if you’re wearing one” when asking female clients to remove their bra before a massage.
