We truly will never be free because why is this most women’s response to another woman not shaving the hair they all naturally grow from their bodies? Acting as though it’s some alien sight. And what’s sad is I knew how these were gonna be before I even opened them. This visceral of a response over fucking armpit hair meanwhile men can look like literal werewolves and no one gives a fuck. Yet a post pubescent woman growing the hair (and I cannot stress this enough) that was intended to grow from her body has everyone ruffling their feathers. It’s truly mind boggling to me. Even beyond how misogynistic it is, it’s also just plain rude. To feel this comfortable making these comments on a woman who’s doing nothing but enjoying her life just because she’s not fitting the patriarchal standard to a tee.

Anyways this woman is beautiful and it’s insane how society has brainwashed women into seeing shaving, something so ridiculous and a general waste of time, as a requirement to be presentable. And to the point where you’re shunned for not doing so. But remember ladies, It’s a woman’s choice to shave/wax every inch of their body until they’re hairless. And if you critique this ritual YOU’RE the misogynist #choicefeminist 🤪

it's really nice and interesting to see a young radfem like me (15) on this website ^_^! most of the ones i've seen are well into their adult years and it almost intimidates me. thats why i typically just lurk lol. but i do have to say that radical feminism can be a truly agonizing thing sometimes, especially for a young girl. it hurts to acknowledge the gruesome extent of the patriarchy; it's confusing and painful and, to me, it can require a large degree of mental fortitude to not just break down sometimes. i say all this to encourage you to take breaks if you need it. you're young, i'm young, and i know serious topics like these can't always feel very good to think about. so rest, have fun, and find an inner peace you can come back to if things are stressful. best of luck to you 💕 :3

the girls at my school have to word their period cramps as 'stomach pain', otherwise they cant lay down in the nurse/get sent home because 'cramps arent a reason to miss class!'

the ONLY difference is that we are womyn. all the sudden our pain isnt real pain, just because men cant relate to this. the second our pain stems from us being female, we cant take a break because these establishments see female pain as secondary to male pain.

i could be having debilitating cramps, but a boy with a stomachache would be prioritized over me because womyn are expected to just take their pain as the normal to not disturb men.

I've noticed the past year or so a lot of people seem to have magically forgotten how to spell and pronounce the singular "woman" vs. the plural "women." Many now both write and pronounce the plural form the singular way.

Example: "I saw many woman today at the supermarket."

Anyone else noticing this trend, and, if so, any explanation?

It seems vaguely disrespectful and a bit sinister. I can't really put my finger on why, but perhaps because it seems sudden and intentional. I've never seen "man" and "men" get mixed up.

Also, I'm not talking about spelling errors, typos, or how people whose first language is not English use these words.
