This is a Gummie Bear Wizard. You may not have heard of them before. They’re jolly and shy, and they mostly stay indoors and eat gummie bears all day.
For Daniel Krall’s ultra-cute, ultra-colorful “Technotwonic” show.
What are you thinking about, Log Lady?
So there you go. What'd I tell ya? (She'll be B&W in the zine, but I can never resist color on my own time.) This one's for you, cacophonyofcolour.
When are you guys going to be putting out the second zine? I'd like to contribute to something!
It's more a question of "if" than "when" really. "Damn Fine Coffee!" is the first large anthology-type zine I've made, and I'm undecided about whether I want to put out another issue or to move on! As I've told many other interested folks, if I make another one, it will be an open-call for submissions. I'll definitely spread the word about it if that happens, so keep your eyes open!
Also, I might add, the excitement for the zine and the interest everyone's expressed has been truly thrilling, but all I'm focusing on right now is getting this current issue out.

Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon! This silly little strip is my submission to Atomic Books' Mutant! #3, which they'll be releasing for Free Comic Book Day. Check out the previous issues here.
Spoiler alert: she dead! I actually really love Sailor Moon. I collected the comics, and copied the drawings voraciously (there's probably a seriously embarrassing sketchbook full of them somewhere). It was definitely a huge influence...and I might still watch the show.......?
I opened a store on Society 6! In addition to art prints, you'll also find a few iphone cases and a t-shirt featuring my moths. Go on and check it out! Is there anything I've done that you'd really like to see for sale? Feel free to let me know!
Thanks guys.
I did this piece for an article in the New York Times about how a survivor of domestic abuse is drawn to listening to true crime podcasts. You can read the article online here.
I’ve been watching Jimmy work on this and LEMME TELL YA. This issue is hilarious and it’s gonna be killer! you can get your own copy by supporting his Kickstarter. Please check it out and reblog!
HOLY SCRUNGE EVERYONE! It’s official, Fight Frogs 2: Never Stop Frog Fighting is officially an official thing and it’s going to be debuting at this year’s Small Press Expo!!! Not only that, my Kickstarter for the book just launched like this very second! WHOAAAA!!!
This new book has more sweat, more veins, more punching, MORE EVERYTHING! The Fight Frogs meet their ultimate challenge in a new gang of 80s frat boy muscle-head sharks called the Shit Sharks and stuff goes CRAZY.
Please take a look at the Kickstarter and support this book getting made! You can get copies of the book, screen prints, patches, original art, and more. In all seriousness, this is my favorite comic I’ve ever made and it’d be awesome to be able to share it with you!
