Homicipher is really rewarding, because of that language barrier
I remember being so happy when I could understand what the characters were saying in the demo
Waiting until full release on Nov. 1st, but homicipher seems to have an interesting approach to horror games. The language barrier mechanic isn't something I've seen before here. And I think this lack of info for the protagonist is a good way to up the player's tension in a way that feels "earned".
Bc we've all seen the "no phone signal out here" excuse a billion times lol.
I'm not motivated to do anything, so here's Phos cat

Get in, we're going to Novosibirsk to see Dostoyevsky
Мы едем в Новосибирск навестить Достоевского

ENA of with tons of dark lore
Their name is 'the assistant' and they are in charge of making phone calls.
The orange side is 'the observer' and the purple side is 'the dreamer.'
The two sides work together to achieve a common goal even though they are very different.
Birb
Birb that evokes creativity
a scene that stood out to me, talking to the vending machine guy for the first time.
because it reminded me of all the gun allusions from the trailer. ENA reaching to that fork thing, and the shadow turns into a gun. broken ENA being rained on by bullets, and ENA shooting a finger pistol as a gun is behind her
