What your folks grew up on.
One fine spring day.
Mount Fuji in Yamanashi, Japan.
The power of words. My mom shared with me "I have a head ache" in response I said " mom you are looking at your phone, your ipod and have the TV on in the back " then suddenly cuts me off and starts talking over me. I politely interjected and said " mom I love you, but when I speak you often cut me and speak over me, in fact even my brothers do the same. I take the time to listen to you all, you guys are never in competition to speak over each other. You take the time to listen to each other then speak. But everyone feels they can speak over me, like what I have to say is not of importance." Mom then replied " okay, I am sorry. But I already knew what you were going to say." In which I said to her " mom even if you know what I am going to say, take the time to listen to me. Then tell me that you already know what I am going to say. It shows that you acknowledge me and what I feel and says is of some value and that you are showing me the same courtesy of listening, as I do you." Mom was silent in my process of explaining this to her. In that moment she took a minute thought about what I said, and apologized once more " I am sorry, you are right. i didn't think about that." Ladies and gentleman the power of words.

Puckish, pranking, playful, proud... The flute is the most youthful of musical instruments.
Go out today and be like a child. Children are experts in authenticity. Stomp your feet in a puddle after it rains and make a mud pie. Sing. Climb a tree. Share your lunchbox with another. Make friends. In other words, play play play! That is the secret to a long life.
Tell someone you love them. Don't wait! Go! Do it now! Today! You are love, and love shares its lunch.
Peace to you all.
