So is today's episode of "how can I make this about HuskerDust we have: a nervous tic Angel seems to have is rubbing his hands (generally the bottom ones) together to self-sooth. Like this:

HuskerDust Headcanons

Husk keeps Angel's favorite drink and his 'favorite drink' in stock. His favorite is a strawberry and creme mixed drink. The one he says is his favorite is some low calorie vodka, because Val is always making Angel count his calories.

Angel is absolutely amazed by Huskers magic tricks. Even when they're relatively simple. Especially when he's drunk or high and needs a distraction.

Husk said I love you first. Even if it was in hushed Russian after Angel fell asleep at the bar.

They both are very convinced the other won't like them.

Angel takes Husk rejecting his offers for sex as him not wanting him, because he thinks that's all anyone would want with him.

Husk thinks Angel is coming onto him as part of his job. Husk doesn't want to use him if this is just his job. Why would a famous porn star want a grumpy old cat like him?

Angel finally breaks down and asks why he can't pull the one guy he actually likes.

I love the parallels between these two pictures of the envelope, the envelope Angel gave him is visually pleasing, warm, and inviting. While the envelope Angel got back is drawn more clunky, jagged, ripped and darker tones were used. I’m also no expert on wax seals but it looks like husk carefully pealed off the wax shaped heart and kept it since it doesn’t appear attached to the envelope anymore which means Husk had to tape it to seal it again.

Anyway thanks to all of Angel’s hard work the effort has finally payed off, he gathered the money to pay Husk back for what he thinks he’s owed. Looks like his time spent at Val’s wasn’t all for nothing, he was able to collect quite the pretty penny—all of which he was willing to give to husk, in order for them to start talking again.

I assume Angel’s bar tab was pretty high up there, for there to be so many bills he handed over. But surprisingly enough Husk refuses to exploit Angel and his money, he doesn’t want to take advantage of his obviously hard earned cash, so he takes $5 and leaves the rest at Angel’s disposal. 

Husk made that huge ass fuss, ignored Angel’s posts, banned him from the bar, all of that just to settle for merely five dollars. I’m screaming.

I think Angel’s feelings might have been hurt, Husk could possibly have come off as a little ungrateful or rude in his eyes when refusing the money. “Pfft aight then. Rest is going ta @SmellyRatMan❤️” aka: “Fine be that way. I’ll just give it to Val.” proceeding to go back to Valentino. From Angel’s perspective he worked his ass off and went through all of that shit just to pay him back because it was HUSK that made a big deal out of it in the first place, and all he took was FIVE DOLLARS.

Tbh I’d be a lil heated if I were him too lol but I could be wrong.

So yeah I don’t blame Angel if he’s a bit upset right now. We all know why Husk didn’t take much money, it’s because he’s a softie, cares a shit ton and doesn’t take want to take advantage of Angel’s already delicate situation.

But Angel doesn’t know why. He may believe Husk just doesn’t give a shit meaning Angel put in all that effort into getting the money for nothing.

So in the end Angel doesn’t seem alright. At all. This sort of reminds me of the “My boyfriend broke my heart so I’ll run to my ex for affection” scenario.

I’m honestly worried about Angel’s well-being, he’s using again while staying with an abusive douche and it seems to just be getting worse. This can’t end well, but I believe if anyone were able to talk some sense into Angel, it would be Husk. 

I feel like Husk’s opinion matters most to Angel, out of everybody in the hotel I’d say he is the closest chance on getting Angel back to the straight and narrow. Meanwhile Val is just constantly enabling him to do bad.

Angel would listen if it was Husk that told him to get the hell back to the hotel and keep him company, you know what I mean? But if it were anyone else, they’d get the middle finger just like Charlie did.

Well I’m just happy our boys are back to talking again….ish? We were also robbed of seeing a cute little love letter hidden inside the envelope. Someone please draw this and tag me.
