By far the best known Gaelic festival, Samhain marked the end of summer in Ireland, when assemblies were held and the cattle were brought to winter pastures. The traditional (though contested) date is usually given as November 1st, with festivities beginning at dusk on October 31st. Like with Bealtaine, the festival of Samhain is marked by bonfires and an emphasis on protection from Otherworldly forces. Syncretism with All Hallow's Eve resulted in many traditions involving the dead or the Daoine Sidhe roaming the lands on Samhain, looking to snatch away or otherwise harm those who did not observe the proper rites. As such, the wearing of disguises and the creation of charms were meant to ward away unwanted attention. Divination games were also common on Samhain, primarily concerning matters of love and marriage. Hiding trinkets such as coins or rings in plates of food and loaves of bread was the most popular method, although apples and hazelnuts were also employed. Samhain is also the setting for many of Irish mythology's most famous tales, especially stories of wooings and conceptions. Modern Scottish tradition associates Samhain with the Cailleach, the hag of winter, who rules over the colder months. The Brugh na Boinne was particularly associated with Samhain, and modern folklore describes it as the site of battles, feasts, and games carried out by the Daoine Sidhe on Samhain night. This piece features a deer skull to evoke the deer herd of the Cailleach and the traditions surrounding death, with crossed swords and the Brugh na Boinne for the Daoine Sidhe. Loaves of bannock and barmbrack, along with nuts and apples, encompass the culinary aspects of the holiday, and the quaich cup (a common sight at weddings) and divinatory trinkets hint at its more romantic overtones. Finally, bonfire flames, a carved tumshie lantern, and a parshell cross serve as charms to ward away Otherworldly dangers. Lá Fhéile Shamhna sona daoibh!

Goodbye Queen Elizabeth. You where an amazing woman, and you inspired me a lot with your life.
Thinking about posting a fan fic but scared at the same time. I'm a first time author, usually just relegated to editor for others. How do people have the fortitude to post stories? 😑
This is gorgeous like white fire or wings around the moon.
Dacshbun Facts
(Art by ktyon3 on Danbooru)
-The genus name for the Dachbun line is "Panemis Canis." Panemis comes from the old words "Panis" and "Panem, " which both mean bread. Canis is the genus name for canine pokemon. The rough translation for the Dachbun line is "bread dog"
-Dachbun have been with humans for centuries, and are diverged from the Stoutland line and are close relatives of the Slurpuff line
-Dachbun and Fidough were common Pokemon in Kalos until a civil war that left everyone hungry, when all of them were killed as they were accused of eating all of the bread
-Dachbun sustain themselves on foods with high sugar as that’s what the yeast in their body needs to keep thriving
-If you have a Dachbun who just had a litter of Fidough, you might notice they become more aggressive and clingy around them. This is completely normal behavior! Since Fidought hatch too soft for their own good, Dachbun mothers will cuddle around them because the warmth of their body hardens them out
-Dachbun are the most common evolved pets in Paldea
-Dachund were actually bred in a region near Paldea where they were used as hunting dogs. The word Dach actually means badger, since they were used to hunt mustelids (like Furret). They became friendlier and more bread like with the rise of agriculture
-Dachbun are slightly warm to the touch and make great cuddle buddies
-A lot of people assume they they're like Appletun, where you can pick the pieces off and eat them. Don't do this! That can harm the Dachbun, and unless it's cooked, they're not edible!
-Anyways, yeah. Dachbun can be cooked and eaten
-They pair really well with Growlithe and Arcanine because of their well-baked body and Growlithe/Arcanine's heat
-Despite their body looking and feeling like bread, they still have really short fur all over them (the yellow parts being the exception; the fur is obviously longer there)
-While it might look like their toes are just regular dog toes, those are actually holes in its body! The slits in their toes help them get rid of excess yeast that would cause air bubbles to form
-Like fidough, Dachbun still don't have great hearing, so they have a great sense of smell to make up for it!
(Fact post on Fidough under cut)
Coming from your Neo Griffith who marries Charlotte while keeping his lover close I also could see him arranging for Charlotte to have an "accident" once he ascends to king. It wouldnt be right away because that would be way too obvious and way too suspicious but I can imagine him refusing to settle on anything other than his ideal future. He promised his s/o she would be his queen and even if he has to be married to Charlotte for a few years, I could see him doing the unthinkable to follow thru
Little finch, don't stray from the path--
He supposed he might've felt...guilty even, in another life.
In a life where he cared for her, where he could've loved her.
But unfortunately--his eyes broke from the window, to settle in your sleeping sighs. With pale, rose-tipped fingers he brushed away wayward strands of hair, but it felt as ghastly as he was. It held not your warmth, not the warmth that once left hushed kisses in his cheek, or the warmth of your breath on his eyelids.
He loved you, even in this husk, in this shell of flesh and glass that held only aspirations. In a vessel made for him, the only one that would help him reach where he had once fallen short.
He loved you, even if you feared him. Even if you found his cold, ageless beauty, vile where as other only saw good. Even if his voice, made to be followed, only had you squirming and in tears.
Even if you'd never have him.
Even if he was to suffer by your hand.
