The makeup scene we didn’t get.

“Alright?”

“Not really. But I’m not talking to you right now, so it doesn’t matter”

Aaron swallows tightly and draws in a deep breath as he sits down next to Robert on the bench, nodding.

“Fair enough. I’ll just sit here until you let up”

Robert stares straight ahead of himself, crossing his arms over his chest for good measure, and Aaron forces himself not to be irritated, reminding himself that he’s supposed to be apologising. 

Rob shows no signs of paying any attention to Aaron at all, so he shrugs to himself and tugs the baccy, rizzlas and filters from his pocket, rolling a cig on his knee. He lights up and breathes in a few times, glancing sideways once before holding the cig out, loose and nonchalant; there if Robert wants it, there if he doesn’t. 

They go a good minute before Robert glares, taking the cig anyways, still tight jawed and determined to ignore him, but relaxing ever so slightly with his first few tokes. 

“I’m sorry,” Aaron starts, accepting the cig back “this is all really fuckin messy right now, and I don’t want what we have to be messy too”

“Well you drew the short straw there, mate,” Robert snorts bitterly and Aaron sits back against the wood properly, shaking his head.

“I used to think that, y’know? But lately its like… you’re one of the only things in my life that makes my brain go quiet”

“Aaron, it was only a few weeks ago that you were telling me you can’t think straight around me”

“Well that’s half true, I mean, there’s nothing straight about us”

Aaron has a small smile on his face, and he nudges Rob softly, desperate to loosen some of the tension between them. It physically aches, and he’s so tired of aching, so tired of feeling like he’s balancing on a tightrope barely hanging on. 

“God, I hate you,” Robert sighs, looking up at the sky for strength, although amusement glitters in his eyes and Aaron grins, egged on by some of the weight lifting. 

“Nah, you love me. I’m a delight”

“Aaron, please just go away”

Aaron swallows again and sucks heavily on his cig, before passing it to Robert again. He takes it despite his better judgement.

“You gonna tell me to get out of your life? You usually love throwing my words back at me”

“This is what I mean; how the fuck are we supposed to move on if you keep assuming nothing’s changed?”

Aaron closes his eyes and puffs excess air out through his cheeks. A moment later, the itching on his skin becomes just too unbearable and he shuffles closer, feeling his blood get warmer, comfort washing over him at the weight of his boyfriend’s frame against his own.

Could be wrong but the time captain swan gave for Aaron to find out about the letter and the spoilers for Liv overhearing a conversation and taking action match up so I'm thinking she finds out about the letter and drops Robert in it. I was hoping the stuff with Liv and Robert was going to be light and a bit funny but I don't think it will be now.

Yeah I’ve had that ever growing feeling too since the spoilers came out that the convo Liv’s gonna overhear could be her finding out about Robert and the letter and she may drop Robert in it. But who knows what else it could be also.

I guess in a way, the sooner it’s out, the better? Idk … we’ll see?

For Robert, being treated like shite has been ever since Andy came into his life and was adopted. That’s why I understand the psychology of Robert. I know they love each other deeply. TOTALLY PISSED at today’s episodes. 

Your gifset of Aaron ignoring Robert/Robert being happy for Aaron made me so emotional???? Like, Robert is trying so hard. He puts himself out there for Aaron, gets rejected and puts himself out there again, immediately. He just lets it go and puts Aaron first. Like, all I want is for someone to put Robert first, for once, ya know? Anyway, Robert needs a million hugs.

OH GOD THAT .. like when that moment aired in the ep my HEART JUST BROKE. Like LITERALLY, I just - my jaw fell open.

Bc GOD Robert gets ignored and just LOOKED OVER, but he doesn’t hold resentment then, he just keeps it in and puts a genuine smile on his face because he’s SO happy to see Aaron happy after everything, whilst knowing deep down how annoyed Aaron is with him and how it’s gotta hurt having been called out but knowing he was wrong, but being GLANCED OVER when he wants to make it up to him.

But he doesn’t let that cloud his genuine happiness he feels for Aaron. 

GOD, WHEN does Robert get to be the centre of someone’s entire existence like that? When’s Robert gonna feel that insurmountable amount of love??? When’s he going to be hugged in a way to erase every bad feeling and feel safeguarded? When is Robert’s time gonna come????

We’re soon going to find out there was no sex. Bex had a revenge plan against Robert from the get go when she returned. Not even a firstv pregnancy/abortion.

I am so sorry anon, this got lost in my drafts for some reason and I completely forgot I hadn’t finished it!

It was severely uncomfortable being back at Home Farm under this new guise of ‘outsider’ and ‘enemy number one’. Usually, Robert had no problem being hated - it was a niggle which he could ignore with a smirk or a sharp retort. Water off a duck’s back, and nothing he hadn’t face a thousand times before. But now that he was working alongside Lawrence, it was necessary for the two of them to reach some kind of truce in order to make the business work, and as yet, the older man was failing to comply with any of Robert’s attempts at making amends.
