This Is My Thinking On The Matter As Well. Spot On!

This is my thinking on the matter as well. Spot on!

if the kid is Roberts (which I don’t mind tbh) it’s gonna be the most anti-climactic ending they could have possibly went with. Cause like Rebecca’s just gonna leave with the kid and that’s it? There has to be something else.

We’re soon going to find out there was no sex. Bex had a revenge plan against Robert from the get go when she returned. Not even a firstv pregnancy/abortion.

Seriously, Though?

I LOVED this! Just EXCELLENT!!!

He entered the pub, Aaron’s hand gripping his as they approached the bar. Chas looked up and her shoulders slumped in relief.

“They let you go?” she asked, searching her son’s face, then Robert’s, for confirmation.

Aaron nodded. “DS Wise sorted it. He’s been released without charge.”

Even hearing the words said aloud had Robert relaxing back into his own skin. He’d been so tense in the car, as if ready for the police to suddenly chase after him and drag him back, tell him they had more than enough evidence to put him away. He’d held onto Aaron’s hand so tightly the whole way home, terrified of what might happen if he let go.

I loved all this as well! PERFECT!!!

That rare time when your expectations are not only met but exceeded: •Robert and Vic interaction. •Robert calling Chrissie a “spineless bottom feeder”! •Smug Robert! •That look of fear on Robert’s face when he thinks he might have put his baby sister in danger. (He loves her so much! Thank you for finally remembering that ED.) •Robert yelling “No! No! No!” while tumbling off the tree top. •Victoria giving Robert the third degree while he’s still hanging upside down. •ROBERT CALLING CHRISSIE A BITCH! WHY WAS THAT SO HOT?!? •Robert finally telling Vic that Chrissie set Andy up. •Victoria ready to go beserk on Chrissie. •Tiny Vic helping Robert hobble off before being caught. •Victoria mocking Chrissie and threatening to punch her face in. •The irony of Robert “act now, think later” Sugden saying “We have to be smarter.” •Sugden sibling bonding.

Hello, I saw your post about "my body, my choice" and I really don't want to be offensive or rude, but I genuinely would like to know why you think it doesn't go both ways? Isn't it her body, her choice wether she wants to keep it or not? Sorry again if I am being dumb here.

no worries, nonnie, not rude at all.

my issue is not on an in story level. you’re right, it does go both ways and it’s bex’s choice.

the thing is ‘my body, my choice’ is and has always been a pro choice slogan. its message is that female reproductive health and the choice to be and stay or not pregnant should be up to the woman. and that having an abortion is not evil, it’s not a sin or a shame. it is a valid choice, up to the person who is pregnant.

ed have repeatedly and consistently treated abortion as shameful (look at kerry, she was practically punished for having an abortion when she felt it was the right thing to do.) and while i understand that a lot of it comes from not wanting to alienate the audience it’s aimed at, just the introduction of the “forced abortion” detail shows how it’s treated as abortion is the worst thing that could happen to a women.

to use a slogan about choice, a known, established slogan, in a storyline with the opposite purpose, is a massive slap in the face. ‘my body, my choice’ means whether someone has an abortion or not, it’s their prerogative. and either choice is valid and there is no shame in either.
