I Think Robert Was Intrigued By Aaron In The Woolpack When Aaron Just Said “I’ll Remember That When

i mean, it didn’t start out great, did it? i mean, it really shouldn’t work! well yeah, it was an extra marital affair and it was very passionate, and it was kind of, urm, and i think maybe that’s kind of, ‘cause it’s taboo, it had a bit of a, you know, popularity. well, robert had aaron shackled to a radiator!  he did, yeah! 

You should write for Emmerdale! You’re brilliant!

I have this idea and no where to put it.

So Robert comes in, he’s gotten bad news about something and he can’t find Aaron anywhere. Anyway he sits on the stairs and he has his head in his hands and he stops fighting the tears. He looks up when he hears the footsteps and wipes his eyes quickly as he sees Liv, “Are you crying?” “No.” She looks at him for a bit, “You okay?” He sniffs, “I’m fine.” She watches him again, “You’re not crying cos I was mean to you are you?” He looks at her and shakes his head, “No.” She chews her lip as he stares at the wall; his eyes glassy again. The she sits beside him and puts a hand on his back. The tiny gesture making him burst into tears again. She leans against him and rubs his back as he tries to stop, neither of them speaking. She gets her phone out and texts Aaron. When he turns up he’s immediately in front of Robert asking what’s wrong and Liv just rubs Robert’s arm and leaves them to it.

When someone identifies with their favorite character it can say a lot about them. Whenever someone says “they are so me” believe them. Sometimes liking a favorite character they identify with is the closest thing to catch a glimpse of who they really are. Never tell anyone that they are talking about a fictional character too much, because deep down it could be the only thing thats been helping them battle their deepest insecurities. Even fictional characters can make a difference, regardless wither or not they are real.

I'm thinking the the reason Aaron ruins Chas's date with ds wise is because Aaron will find out who's been bullying Liv so he'll need to ring Chas. I want to believe it's to do with Robert but I don't know I'm being negative haha.

I do have a strong hope/belief that Aaron sabotaging Chas’ date is to do with Robert. I mean why else would it even be important that it’s DS Wise she’s going on a date with. Besides Liv’s bully is most likely going to be Gabby or Lachlan and they’re not exactly at risk of fleeing the village so really the issue of getting to Liv’s bully isn’t THAT important that it can’t wait until AFTER Chas’ date, if you know what I mean LOL.

Also the spoilers say that Robert searches for Liv’s bully on the Thursday so obviously he finds out who it is. But it isn’t until Friday that Robert actually finds them…and since it’s bound to be someone in the village it should be easy enough for Robert to track the person down (I mean look at how quickly he found Sandra and the police couldn’t even find her lol) so it seems weird Robert needs two days to find Liv’s bully. Which could suggest he gets interrupted in his search by the police arresting him and Aaron then having to get him out by ‘sabotaging’ Chas’ date and get DS Wise’s help.

I very much agree. Robert meant, I’m certain, he missed their intimate connexion. He has never felt complete or really happy as he does even just being with Aaron, with no walls at all between them. They really do get each other and love each other deeply. Aaron has actually been the greatest influence on Robert’s life...and character change.

So, I've been thinking a lot about Robert's 'I miss you' from Thursday's episode and I have seen a lot of people mean this at intimately, like sex. I don't think he meant it this way because personally I think Robert wouldn't imply that after he said to Aaron that he would wait, so far Robert has remained true to to his word. He will wait until Aaron is ready to start being intimate again. Plus Aaron was annoyed at him over the whole paying Ryan to do a statement against Gordon thing.

No way did he only mean sex when he said “i miss you”! For sure he meant Aaron as a whole being, a partner, a person to talk to, be around, and, yes, a person to make love with (but not JUST that). It was a lovely line. 😁

I’ve watched Emmerdale for a very, very long time. I liked Danny as an actor when he was in Grange Hill. When he came to Emmerdale I liked his character, Aaron. Then as time went on I liked him more. Kept watching Emmerdale and was happy Aaron returned. I remembered Robert being born on Emmerdale and subsequent growth. I felt I understood Robert and felt sorry for his treatment. When he returned and their first kiss happened, I was enthralled! I’ve been a faithful Robroner (obsessed) ever since.

how i found robron:

i don’t know if anyone really cares that much but considering we will be dead by this time tomorrow i would love to know how people in this fandom found robron. i find it so interesting to know and it makes me smile to think about how big this fandom is now so i’d love if people would reblog this with their own ‘how i found robron story’ so we can all look back at how far we’ve come.
