At least in some parts of the US it’s also called a utility room.
Are laundry rooms considered american? I live in England and we have one (we call it a utility room but it has the same purpose)
I’m not sure if it’s considered American, but I’d guess not? @stulot was talking about how they’re common in Sweden, as well. And then a few Americans contacted me about how they have washers in the kitchen!! Although I know kitchen washers are uncommon, at least in the west coast–might be different in any other area of nation, HA. the country is too massive to generalize as a whole, it hits both coasts of an entire continent HA.
I LOVED this! Just EXCELLENT!!!
He entered the pub, Aaron’s hand gripping his as they approached the bar. Chas looked up and her shoulders slumped in relief.
“They let you go?” she asked, searching her son’s face, then Robert’s, for confirmation.
Aaron nodded. “DS Wise sorted it. He’s been released without charge.”
Even hearing the words said aloud had Robert relaxing back into his own skin. He’d been so tense in the car, as if ready for the police to suddenly chase after him and drag him back, tell him they had more than enough evidence to put him away. He’d held onto Aaron’s hand so tightly the whole way home, terrified of what might happen if he let go.

I’ve watched Emmerdale for a very, very long time. I liked Danny as an actor when he was in Grange Hill. When he came to Emmerdale I liked his character, Aaron. Then as time went on I liked him more. Kept watching Emmerdale and was happy Aaron returned. I remembered Robert being born on Emmerdale and subsequent growth. I felt I understood Robert and felt sorry for his treatment. When he returned and their first kiss happened, I was enthralled! I’ve been a faithful Robroner (obsessed) ever since.
i don’t know if anyone really cares that much but considering we will be dead by this time tomorrow i would love to know how people in this fandom found robron. i find it so interesting to know and it makes me smile to think about how big this fandom is now so i’d love if people would reblog this with their own ‘how i found robron story’ so we can all look back at how far we’ve come.
I love this so much!!!
Happy Birthday Robert!
Let’s just pretend that they really did go away to Barcelona…
I always love working with Ryan.”
“I’d like Robron to be back on ‘“cos I like kissing Ryan.”
“I’d love to work with Ryan for many years to come!”
“Ryan is just great to watch on screen isn’t he?! So good!”
“I try to find different words for Ryan ‘cos of the amount I’ve said about him in the past because he’s just great to work with.”
[Talking about Robron success] “I think its down to Ryan coming in and so strongly playing this character, which was already a recognized role. Its more of a credit to him than me.”
“Ryan is a very, very talented actor- particularly in the emotional stuff.”
“Ryan was the only one who was amazing enough to steal your eye at the audition stage. I knew he was the one.”
“I could never imagine anyone else playing Robert. Ryan has done a great job and I’ve enjoyed watching us develop.”
“Ryan’s a good kisser, I quite like it!”
“As corny as it sounds, the relationship between us has come on- not just with Robert and Aaron.”
“Ryan’s given his own edge to Robert, which I am so proud of him for, as a colleague and a mate.”
“It’s a testament to Ryan. I’m very proud to work with him. He’s been amazing and he’s a good lad.”
“Credit where credit’s due, Ryan Hawley’s come in and he’s been absolutely amazing. He’s kept his feet on the ground and his head above sea level.”
“Danny’s enormously talented. Working with someone like him makes my performance better.”
“I’ve learned so much while working closely with Danny Miller- its all been an absolute pleasure!”
“We seem to have great chemistry on screen, which is a blessing.”
“I love working with Danny!”
“Danny’s a great actor and I’m very lucky to work so extensively with him.”
“We get on very well and he’s very grounded. We share a lot in common and we’ve got a great rapport.”
“It has been a gift for me to work with him and the fact we get on as well makes it easier and a lot more fun.”
“I’m very pleased to see Robert and Aaron together and happy. It means that Danny and I get to work together a bit more.”
“Ryan says he feels blessed to be working alongside Danny Miller.”
“My favourite storyline of the year was Danny’s [prison sl]. I think he handled it fantastically. I thought his performances were incredible.”
“We both enjoy working with each other and we have chemistry so I hope there’s a long future for the relationship.”
“It was pretty uneventful until I met Danny at the screen test and I guess things just clicked!”
“I’ve been very lucky that I was paired with Danny because not only is he a great actor but I’ve learnt so much from him.”
“I’m really lucky working with Danny. Not only do we get along but we amuse and entertain each other. We’re able to really knuckle down when it comes to it and that makes coming to work so much easier when you have that with.
I’m curious!
