If you ever feel unrecognised, just know that Afghan Women keep getting further dehumanised each and every day and no one talks about it because it's not popular on social media

so disgusted by everyone making this ghibli shit right and left, they don't give a second thought about its ethical and environmental impact they just want to take part in this fucking rat-race of a trend like you do realise how Miyazaki has spent time on his art, perfecting every stroke, how he denounces the use of ai in arts just to find that his art is now used by machines to fulfill this crappy desire of people to see themselves as ghibli characters, they don't understand how unethical and damaging it is how it is direct plagiarism of the style of art the studio ghibli does AND the environmental cost of it like do you realise the ai servers already take so much of the stakes and now you just want to overburden the same JUST BECAUSE YOU WANT TO SEE YOURSELF AS A GHIBLI CHARACTER

I saw you reblogged orv and I was wondering if you read it? I really wish we got some more positive rep from the Vedas constellation instead of demonising them like that

I've only read the ORV manhwa so maybe I'm missing some context, but honestly, I was pretty disappointed with how they've shown the Vedas.

They lacked depth and complexity. They felt judgemental, rigid, and power hungry, but that's not what the Vedas are about at all.

The Vedas are deep, full of questions and wisdom. But none of that really came through in ORV.

Even though ORV is fictional and it doesn't have to be 100% accurate, the way you portray a tradition that is still alive and meaningful to people matters.

The average Desi experience when you realise you are neurodivergent but your family refuses any psychiatrist or investing in sensory tools or changing their routine (because autism isn't real they lived in a gareeb house with their 20 siblings in a single room) so you're stuck there everyday on the brink of a breakdown but can't actually breakdown because then you'll be screamed at for being an ungrateful brat (while your younger sibling throws a tantrum over not wanting to do his homework and they let him)

Things i learned on Tumblr this week:

What is okay, encouraged and politically correct to say: Hindutva Fascism (referencing a country defending its sovereignty to attack on terrorist bases. No muslims within the country were ever targeted for this operation, in fact many anti-government influential Muslim leaders like Owaisi declared their support).

What is not okay, discouraged and EVIL to say: Islamic Terrorism (referencing 4 terrorists attacking innocent tourists, asking them to show their IDs, recite the kalma and even pull down their pants to prove they are muslim before the non-muslims are identified and murdered)

Whoever propagates these views (and you know who you are), please examine yourself and your views, and ask yourself if what you are propagating is truly for the good of this world? Or is it only to score social media brownie points?
