So here’s the story behind this picture of me and Alex Turner.
I’m from Raleigh, NC and I had just come back from their show at Red Had Amphitheater. The show was amazing and I have the best photos that’ll share soon as I find them on my drive.
This was at a queer bar in Raleigh called Ruby Deluxe. I was hype from the show and next thing you know – THE WHOLE BAND WALKS THROUGH THE DOOR! Everything was really cool and chill. No one really bothered them that much but were all fangirling from a distance.
I spoke to the band when they walked in the door and said great show and thanked me. Later…
I walked up to Alex and I said “I know you hear this all the time but you’re music is beautiful and amazing. I said I know you all are trying to keep it chill tonight, so I’m not going to ask for a picture but thank you for letting me have this moment with you.”
Alex was so sweet and said – “Thanks! Do you want a picture. Let’s take a picture.” I was like “Are you sure?”
Well my phone had died at the show and I had it charged at the bar and didn’t have it on me. I told him and I was disappointed and he said “I’m going to be here for the rest of night. When your phone is charged come find me and we can get a picture.”
Well I ran and got my phone from the bar – found him and said I have my phone and he grabbed me tight and said let’s take this picture. He was so friendly and personal. Opposite to what I heard during the AM era of him being shy and moody. He was extremely warm.
Also this was the day he premiered no facial hair.

Club Pacifica is a virtual club with an ocean theme, that will play host to live performances as well as be a great place to just sit and spend time with people, with a great view of our planet. It is located at one of the "clusters" attached to the main torus, and in terms of space, it is to be considered mid-range compared to other structures and places on the station.
Pacifica neither totally ignores the formations on our planet, nor totally copies them into the high-tech space architecture. It reflects elements from great places of Earth, and manipulates the existing terrestrial formings into a more revised state. This "becoming" form is followed by space habitants changing and evolving needs and necessary functions, and overall aesthetics.
