I love this so much
Two of my favorite universes combined!
well.. it’s time to post this video here too 🧍🏻♀️
the fact that nicholas galitzine is henry fox but he's also the slutty boyfriend of henry fox's gay ancestor????? no notes
I don’t think he’d testify against him in the first place
I’m imagining Gus doing Shawn’s taxes or looking at them or something because Shawn’s like something’s off but I’m not sure what.
And Gus realizes they’re different because Shawn is apparently married according to the U.S government.
Something he as Shawn’s best friend would have known, and something Shawn definitely should have known.
But it turns out Pierre forged a marriage between him and Shawn so Shawn can’t testify against him in court.
Shawn does nothing to divorce him.
Here are the things I love most about Psych:
There is a general lack of sexism and misogyny amongst the characters. The women are portrayed as competent as the men and as accomplished as the men. They show platonic male/female friendships and relationships without trying to force something romantic between characters.
There is a general lack of homophobia. Shawn doesn't get offended when people think he and Gus are together. Shawn and Gus are portrayed perfectly in the sense that there is no toxic masculinity. They are open with their love and friendship and don't "no homo" it.
They don't push the marriage or baby rhetoric. Shawn and Juliet having an open conversation about deciding not to want children and just have dogs, and not feeling pressure to be married until the 1st movie is so refreshing, and even then, they didn't make it a big deal. The women in Psych are written for more than being love interests.
They don't downplay Shawn's trauma around his childhood, especially as it contrasts with Gus's more stable home life. Shawn and Henry's relationship feels (to me) like the epitome of "I can understand how and why you did what you did, but that doesn't mean I have to forgive you for it." Likewise, they don't minimize the trauma Juliet had over Yang. They never tell her to "get over it" or try and tell her it wasn't that bad.
They show that what makes a villain isn't black and white. The villains are complicated, like Yang and Desperaux. They're not all bad, but they're also not all good.
All of the storylines with animals are just *chefs kiss.*
The writing is so good. It's comedic but has feelings. It is a safe space. All of the characters grow throughout the course of the show. They don't just stay stagnant.
Anyway. I love it.
Chaol: Here’s a list of potentional champions. They’re all straight-laced and well respected warriors.
Dorian:
Chaol:
Dorian:I want the king of the Assasins.
Chaol: I-

Now im imagining Doof as Bill Nye and I want it!!!
god how on earth did disney not greenlight Doof 101 for a whole series. its obviously a pilot and i know they wouldve pitched it and i wouldve watched a MILLION episodes of doof being a bumbling father while fucking up teaching us misc. science topics
david tennant did the bafta host with his nonbinary pride pin and fuzzy sweater and a cutedog , songged his wife on the red carpet and then subjected everyone to his funny weird dynamic with micheal sheen , did not dis anyone , did not make an aweful comment about anything, wore stellar outfits being the most gorgeuse person out of everyone, give everyone proper respect and attention, finished the job and went home to do an eye mask and rest his feet.
i truly admire him. truly one kind of a man.
