While I have some things planned, I actually wanna do whatever I want with this list without doing them in order. Ya know, go with the flow. That's a new New Years Resolution of mine: learn to go with the flow (both in reality and in my personal stuff) and not worry about sticking strictly to the list or doing anything in particular order. Draw my Handy Manny OC (I watched some Handy Manny on Disney+ this week on Wednesday (2/22/2023) while babysitting my younger cousins and found the show just as charming and entertaining as it was when I was a kid and it inspired me to create an OC for that show; for now, all I know is that my Handy Manny OC is an anthropomorphic talking tool (though idk what tool she would be yet), is female, is one of Manny's tools, is quite superstitious, keeps an accessory on her for good luck (still trying to figure what that accessory would be, but I'm thinking about a small cute scarf that she wears at all times), and I also ship her with Pat the Claw Hammer cuz I like Pat and he's one of my favorite characters on the show; pls don't judge me)

Watch Mindy Kaling's Velma on watchcartoononline.tv and write ideas for my Velma rewrite & Velma AU involving me/Advian Heartson in Velma's place along with my OCs as part of the cast called "Advian" (not to sound egotistical or anything, but I'd like to describe these two projects as "Velma but Better")

I'm honestly not that familiar with AO3 rules but I just googled "ao3 how to report a fic" and this was the top result:

FWIW I wouldn't necessarily take a vague, like, PR statement about a "new commitment to being anti-racist" at face value, like unless it's written in to their Terms Of Service or some other legal documents there's not too much they will likely be willing to do to back that up 🤷 I wanna be hopeful obviously but like at the end of the day they are A Company Operating Under Capitalism, y'know?

I signed the lease on my first gallery. The 1905 cottage will double as a new home for my mom and I. While ultimately we've found a way of turning a housing crisis into a positive next step, the move has been extremely difficult for my mom. She has mild to moderate dementia but the disruption has flared her symptoms, significantly. The situation around the move was also quite traumatic.

Almost all of my energy has been devoted to managing her needs. My gallery opening is getting pushed and pushed. I want to make sure I have enough to pay the plumber to install laundry hookups, the electrician to install the other laundry hookups and stove, and make rent even if I can't make brick and mortar sales in September, which is looking painfully likely.

I so appreciate the support of tumblr's community.
