Anti Anxiety Spell Charm Ingredient Substitutes

Anti Anxiety Spell Charm Ingredient Substitutes

One of my more popular posts, My anti anxiety spell charm has gotten lots of questions.

The most common being ingredient substitutes.

Anti Anxiety Spell Charm Ingredient Substitutes

My original recipe includes Lavender Buds, Eucalyptus Leaves, Spearmint Leaves, And a shard of Selenite.

If for what ever reasons you can not access or use these ingredients substitutes are fine.

Swap out the Lavender for Hibiscus or Chamomile (Use tea bags if you have them)

Or substitute the Eucalyptus or Spearmint with peppermint (Also available ads a tea)

The Selenite is completely optional and more of a luxury item than a necessity for the spell to work. It keeps the spell charm cleansed and purified while also clearing stress and anxiety. A clear Quartz would also do the job fine.

As I usually mention in my posts, My recipes should always be seen as a base for you to use. Use them as inspiration and change them to fit your craft.  Use what ingredients work for you, And what you have available to you.

Yes, You Heard It Right! I’m Coming Out With My Own 30 Day Challenge! I Tried To Come Up With A Lot

Yes, you heard it right! I’m coming out with my own 30 day challenge! I tried to come up with a lot of unusual tasks that I don’t see in challenges and to try and make this one fairly interactive. Before we get into it here is a quick FAQ. HAVE FUN!!!

How do I take part?

Follow each instruction on the list for 30 days. That is about it! If you want to share your experience with others then you can upload your pictures and stories to Tumblr and tag it as #Violetwitchcraftchallenge! Alternatively you can submit them to me and I will post them on your behalf. You don’t have to write anything long; just how you found the day will do fine :)

When does it start?

Whenever you want! You don’t have to start at the beginning of the month; the only requirement is that you do all 30 days in a row. But hey, I don’t really care if you miss a few days ;)

I’ve already done _____ on this list!

Either go back to refresh your memory or just skip that day.

30 DAYS OF WITCHCRAFT.

Day 1: Write a short post about how you got into witchcraft.

Day 2: Write down in any form you wish what you love about your path.

Day 3: Create a witchy playlist. Share the tracklist.

Day 4: Try Automatic Writing. Share the results.(Learn how here. The channeling of a guide is not required.)

Day 5: Learn a little about a path that you don’t know about, but like the look of.

Day 6: Write something in a witchy script. (My script can be found here. Other acceptable alternatives are the Theban, Tolkien Elvish, etc)

Day 7: Learn a little about a path you don’t know about, but hate the look of.

Day 8: Try seeing your Aura. (Learn how here)

Day 9: Create a Sigil. (Learn how here)

Day 10: Work out your natal chart. (Learn how here)

Day 11: Create a spell.

Day 12: Learn about any form of divination you have not yet tried and give it a go. Share the results.

Day 13: Create a new tarot card for the Major Arcana of tarot. You can just make up a concept and a card name if you are not artistic! (Learn what the Major Arcana is here)

Day 14: Write a short post about what you do in your specific practise.

Day 15: Write a piece of poetry on any witchy topic you would like.

Day 16: Learn the brief history of a specific divination method that interests you.

Day 17: Try meditation. If sitting is too uncomfortable for you then lay down while doing so.

Day 18: Name a book, film, game or TV show from pop culture and how it has inspired your craft.

Day 19: Create a spell inspired by a book, film, game or TV show.

Day 20: Create a sigil from song lyrics of your choice. (An example of this is here)

Day 21: Describe or draw what kind of witch you would be if you were in a fantasy game.

Day 22: Find a blog that inspires you or helps you in your path and send them a nice message :)

Day 23: Create a magical symbol that represents your specific craft. (Similar examples are the pentagram, the cross, etc)

Day 24: Try some of the magic you did as a kid again now. (Making a wish at a specific time, blowing out candles on a cake, making a wish on a dandelion, etc)

Day 25: Use an unconventional item in your craft. How you do so is up to you. (think objects completely unconnected to witchcraft.)

Day 26: Download a witchy app on your phone. Share with us what it is and how you find it useful.

Day 27: Create a deity. You can either draw or just describe the deity and what the deity rules/means.

Day 28: Research a famous occultist from any period of history.

Day 29: Watch a documentary on witchcraft on YouTube. Note if you agree or disagree with how witchcraft was represented.

Day 30: Give yourself a big pat on the back for making it to the last day of the challenge! As a reward for sticking with it I present you with this link to 31 witchcraft movies. Watch one and relax!

How to make rose water

You will need: Rose petals (fill your bottle a third of the way) Water Sugar or salt (1/8 tsp) A spray bottle (I used an old perfume bottle)

Shove your rose petals in the bottle, filling it a third of the way. Fill rest of the way with water, shake, and let that sit for a few hours.

Advantages? Rose water is proven to reduce inflammation, acne, rosacea, tone the face, and tighten pores.

You may choose to charge the water with an attraction spell before use, but you could also use this as a face mist like I do, or a perfume. It works either way.

Any spells for controlling your anger? I tend to have an anger issue and I'm sick of taking it out on my loved ones.

I feel you anon, I feel you so hard.

[Anger Dispersion Magick Tea]

[Anger Release Spell]

[Dispelling Anger Tea Spell]

[“Don’t You Boudé” Anger and Grief Relieving Spell]

[Easy Anger Release Spell]

[To End Your Anger]

[To Free Yourself From Anger]

[Match Spell for Anger]

[Melt Away Anger- Solidify Peace]

[My Spell to Dissolve Anger]

[Place My Rage in My Hand: A Spell to Channel Your Anger]

[A Quick Way to Cool Anger]

[Releasing Anger Spell]

[Spell for a Fraying Temper]

[Spell for Chilling Out]

[A Spell to Banish Anger]

[A Spell to Cool Anger]

[Spell to Smother Anger]

[A Spell to Soothe Anger]

[This Place About to Blow: Volcanic Rock Spell]

[Winds of Change Spell]

There is also this [Body, Mind, and Soul Purifying Spell] I really like.

Have a sigil as well: [“I channel my anger in a healthy, safe, productive manner”]

It wouldn’t do any harm to find other, mundane ways to channel your anger and frustration as well. Right now knitting chainmail is my thing - something to distract myself and just do, just to calm down. I’m also prone to screaming along with metal music; I swear to the gods nothing helps me vent anger better than that.

I hope those are of use to you anon, and good luck! :D

“Just don’t curse”

I’m honestly curious. On posts that claim cursing is alright and cursing is ok why do people feel like they need to add their opposing demands?

“Don’t curse!” they cry out.

Why?

Why can’t we curse?

“The Threefold Law!”

Incorrect!

The Three Fold Law was originally published in a fictional work titled High Magic’s Aid by Gerald Gardner.

The story is about two brother’s who set out to reclaim their land. In an interview in 1991 Valiente states, “I think old Gerald cooked it up in one of his rituals, and people took it terribly literally.” (Valiente was an early initiate and high priestess of Gardner, being initiated by him in 1953. She is sometimes referred to as the “Mother of Witchcraft” because of her extensive collaboration with Gardner in reworking his notes into a more formal book of shadows. One of her more most well-know contributions is the poetic form of the Charge of the Goddess.)

Belief in the simple law of cause and effect is a popular one among witches of all traditions; however, this particular way of expressing it [the three-fold law] seems to have originated with the Gardnerians and is peculiar to their English tradition. Gardnerians who did not work with Lady Owen or Raymond Buckland did not have this emphasis on a three-fold return. Unlike the Crowthers, however, Valiente, along with several other coven members split from Gardner around 1960 due to his habit of presenting his personal opinions as law.[x] Through my research on the topic, though it not completely thorough, many Wiccans and witches agree that the words of one person are not law. Many also agree that witches should not be held to a special set of law and rules simply because they practice witchcraft.

“The Wiccan Rede!”

Incorrect!

The Wiccan Rede is not the same thing, though it too was created by a single person. Those who practice NeoWicca do NOT have to follow any rules or laws put forth by specific traditions.

I would also like to emphasize that Gardnerian Wicca is based on initiation and is therefore a closed practice. It is not a title one should claim unless initiated. That being said plenty of Wiccans do not follow the Three Fold Law or The Rede. Those aspects of Wicca apply to very specific traditions in specific practices. If you are at all interested in Wicca I urge you to research “rules” and “laws” before simply accepting them as such.

“Bad Karma!”

Incorrect!

That isn’t how karma works. [x] [x]

“Cursing is only ok when….”

Incorrect!

You don’t get to judge what is “ok” for other people.  You weren’t elected, selected or asked. Your own moral values are not the same as other, stop forcing them onto other people.

Stop telling people cursing is “bad” or “isn’t ok”.

“What goes around comes around.”

Incorrect!

This isn’t a good reason. That is a belief you are personally invested in. That doesn’t mean anyone else has to follow it.

I don’t believe in it. I’ve seen people lie, cheat, steal and physically abuse others and nothing ill has ever come of it. I’ve seen people help those in need, go above and beyond, and honestly want to just help others lose everything. Newborns dying of horrible, painful diseases. Animals being tortured. People dying in wars they want no part of. I don’t believe in “what goes around comes around”. If you personally don’t curse thats fine. Stop policing pro-cursing posts because you feel like people aren’t paying you enough attention. I have never once seen a good reason to not curse. At the core, at it’s origin, witchcraft was born of cursing, of hexes, of spoiling milk and killing livestock…. These are the roots of witchcraft. To say anything otherwise is pretty talk and a complete ignorance to the true history of the craft itself.

✨ Witchy tips ✨

🎀 Take mental health days, no magic just relaxing.

🎀 Stop using divination to see if you’re crush likes you or not, be courageous and ask! Just because it was divined doesn’t mean it’s 100% true.

🎀 Meditate if you have the time.

🎀 Get creative with magic. You don’t have to follow the old ways of witchcraft all the time.

🎀 Don’t listen to any witch that claims their way is the only way.

🎀 Glamours and self love spells are friends. Please cast them! They really help you feel amazing!

🎀 Believe in yourself. You don’t have to wear all black if you don’t want to. You can be a witch and not be the stereotype.
